Can Lugg move and deliver appliances?

Yes, Lugg can move and deliver nearly any household appliance, including refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, oven ranges, and even outdoor grills or AC units.

Does Lugg provide same-day & next-day appliance deliveries?

Yes, Lugg provides on-demand, same-day, and next-day appliance deliveries. You can book movers and a truck within the hour, or schedule up to 60 days in advance for a time that works best for you.

Can Lugg pick up from stores like Home Depot and Lowe's, or from Facebook Marketplace?

Yes, Lugg can pick up and deliver from big-box stores like Best Buy, Home Depot, and Lowe's, local appliance shops, and from online marketplace sellers on platforms such as Facebook Marketplace. At the destination, your Luggers will deliver your appliance to your room of choice and place it right where you want it.

My building is a walk-up with stairs and no elevator, can Lugg still help with my appliance delivery?

Yes, Luggers are experienced with walk-ups and tight spaces. Your Lugg crew will carefully bring your furniture to or from your room of choice, exactly where you want it. **Heavy appliance notice:** Please confirm stairs are wide enough to accommodate safe placement, as Luggers can't hoist appliances or use ladders.

What size truck and crew should I book for my appliance delivery?

Pick the truck that fits what you're moving. Almost every option is a two-Lugger booking, so crew size isn't usually the decision — the Lugg Lite is the exception. * Lite: 6 ft+ long × 4.5 ft wide. A single Lugger with a pickup truck, for a stack of boxes or a few lighter pieces. * Pickup: 6 ft+ long × 4.5 ft wide. The same truck as the Lite, with a second Lugger. * Van: 8 ft+ long × 4 ft wide × 4.5 ft tall. Enclosed, so better in bad weather. * XL: 10 ft+ long × 5.5 ft wide × 6.4 ft tall. * Box: 12–16 ft long × 6 ft wide × 7 ft tall. * Box+: 18–24 ft long × 6 ft wide × 7 ft tall. The largest option, built for commercial relocations and anything that needs maximum cargo space. **Tip**: Pickup trucks carry a tarp for light rain, but book an enclosed truck — Van, XL, Box or Box+ — if heavier rain is forecast. When in doubt, size up. Not all box trucks have a lift gate. If your appliance delivery needs one, say so in the '**What are you moving?**' field when booking and Lugg will do its best to accommodate.

Can Lugg move multiple appliances at once?

Yes, you can book a single Lugg to move multiple appliances, as long as the total load fits safely in the truck and stays within the crew's lifting limits. For example, you can move a washer and dryer together in one Lugg.

Does Lugg have size or weight limits for my appliance delivery?

Lugg's weight limit is 125 lbs per Lugger, or 250 lbs per item on any vehicle that comes with two Luggers: Pickup, Van, XL, Box or Box+. Anything heavier needs more Luggers on the job, so book a second Lugg for the same time window. There's no limit on how many items you move, and size comes down to which vehicle you choose.

Will Lugg install or hook up my appliance?

Luggers deliver and place your appliance in the room of your choice, but they **cannot perform hookups or installation** involving electrical, plumbing, or gas lines. If installation is needed, we recommend scheduling your Lugg first and then booking a certified technician for connection afterward.

What supplies and protective equipment will my Luggers bring for my appliance delivery?

Every Lugg appliance delivery includes professional moving equipment, straps, dollies, moving blankets, and stretch wrap to protect your items and your space, plus a basic toolkit for light disassembly or reassembly. Pickup trucks also come equipped with a tarp for weather protection. Your Luggers will wrap fragile or bulky pieces for safe transport, take care to avoid damage to floors, walls, and elevators, and move heavy furniture, appliances, and other large items safely through tight spaces, stairs, and doorways. This helps ensure a smooth, efficient appliance delivery from start to finish.

Can Lugg pick up my new appliance and haul away, recycle, or donate the old one on the same trip?

Yes, Lugg can pick up your new appliance and then haul away the old one to a recycling facility or donate it to a local charity, including donation centers like [Goodwill](https://lugg.com/goodwill-donation-pickup) or [Habitat ReStore](https://lugg.com/habitat-for-humanity-donation-pickup). Just add an extra stop when booking your delivery. If your new appliance is coming from a partner store, that extra stop means your Lugg is priced as a standard Lugg, with labor billed by the minute at every stop. **Tip**: Donation and disposal centers vary widely in what they accept, so we recommend calling ahead to confirm they can take your appliance, along with their hours and any potential fees.

Can I add additional items to my appliance delivery?

Yes, you can include extra items in the same Lugg, like smaller household goods, boxes, or accessories that came with your appliance (hoses, vents, or pedestals), as long as everything fits safely in the truck and stays within the crew's weight limit.

How should I prepare for my appliance delivery?

To ensure a smooth delivery: - Make sure there's a clear 3–4 ft path and measure any tight spaces. - Protect floors and secure pets. - If your building requires it, reserve elevators or loading docks ahead of time. - If you're replacing an old appliance, disconnect it before your Luggers arrive.

What happens if my appliance gets damaged during the delivery?

We always recommend inspecting your appliance upon arrival. In the rare event that damage occurs to your item(s) or your property, our Support Team will promptly review the issue, coordinate any necessary repairs or replacements, and work with you to make things right. To file a damage claim, [get in touch through our contact page](https://lugg.com/contact) or use live chat. We'll guide you through the next steps and may ask you to hold the item while we review and resolve the issue as quickly as possible. For more details, see our Help Center article: [What if my items or location get damaged?](https://lugg.com/help/after/what-if-my-items-or-location-get-damaged)

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding Service! Highly Recommend! I cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience with Lugg! The two gentlemen who helped transport my double wall oven were absolutely AMAZING! From beginning to end, they handled everything with exceptional care and professionalism. This was a large, heavy appliance, and they took their time to make sure it was handled safely and carefully throughout the entire process. Not once did I feel like they were rushing or being careless. They were efficient, respectful, hardworking, and incredibly attentive to detail. It’s refreshing to come across people who genuinely take pride in doing their job well! I’m beyond grateful for their help and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. These gentlemen deserve recognition for their outstanding service! I would absolutely use Lugg again and highly recommend them to anyone needing reliable, professional moving assistance. Appliance delivery, from the store or the seller to the room it goes in

With Lugg you can book appliance delivery for a single large appliance you've just bought or bargained for - a refrigerator, a washer, a dryer, a range - or for several at once, as long as they all fit safely in the truck you pick. Lugg is an on-demand moving and delivery service that collects appliances from stores, warehouses and private sellers and sets each one down in the room you choose, for anything too big or too heavy to fit in a car.

When store delivery doesn't fit the job

Store delivery works when the date is flexible and the path inside is easy. It works less well when the appliance is ready now, when the only window on offer is a workday you can't give up, or when the spot it has to reach is up a flight of stairs and through a doorway you'd want to measure first.

The old appliance moves on the same trip

Replacing a fridge or a washer is two jobs, not one - the new one comes in and the old one has to go somewhere. Both fit in a single Lugg as a second stop, and where the old one ends up is your call: the garage, the basement, a spare room, a donation center, or a recycler.

Delivery and placement, not installation

Luggers carry your appliance to the room you choose and set it where you want it. They don't connect water lines, gas lines or electrical, and they won't remove doors or hoist an appliance over a railing. A licensed hookup is a separate job for a technician once the appliance is in position.

What an appliance delivery costs

You see an upfront estimate before you book, built from the distance between your addresses plus the time the job takes on site. There are no hourly minimums. Because it's priced on time and distance rather than as a flat rate, the total reflects the work your appliance actually takes rather than an average of everyone else's.
