Went above and beyond 🚀

Millions of happy customers

Evrett& Lennox went above and beyond to assist with moving some items from an estate sale. They also donated two pieces to a local thrift shop with kindness and ease. I would happily have both of them back to assist with other moving needs in the near future. Thanks for all of your help. Take care and be well. Best, Maryanne

Wallace & Adam were great. They were knowledgeable in what could go to the junkyard, stay for City of Santa Monica Bulky Pickup and donated to The Salvation Army. They quickly and efficiently helped me disassemble my shower caddy to pack into a moving box, clear/haul away donations in the garage and haul bulky pickup items to the alley pickup area. Extra points for clearing the garage of garbage. Than you both so much while I was panicking about not getting everything out in time. I appreciate so much service arrival within the hour.

The movers were great. Your website however was misguiding. I wanted my one item donated or thrown away. I live out of state and am not familiar with the where to donate or discard items. Your website brought up a number of sites for donations and I picked the one closest to the moving site to reduce cost. The movers called me from the address that I had gotten from your website and there was a different business there. He had to do his own research to find an alternative. Needless to say, I had to add time and distance to my original bill. This is the second issue I have had with the company website. If only there were someone to talk to. The movers both times have been great.

I was wowed by Eder & Marcos’s efficiency, kindness, and professionalism from start to finish. They went above and beyond a couple of times — one was by calling me and offering their advice when my recipient was unable to take a large donated item. They fixed the problem without me having to update the delivery location on my own. The whole experience was a big relief after a previously difficult moving experience. I’d certainly trust Eder & Marcos to handle a future move.

Alonso and Denmark right on time. Alonso was exceptional - friendly, professional. Both worked efficiently and were out of my home quickly and made a prompt delivery to the nonprofit where I donated the furniture.

I did not know that there would be a high fee to drop my rug at a local public dump. They helped come up with an alternative plan on the spot that saved me money & donated my old suitcases to Goodwill. Thanks!

These guys are first rate. They were very cautious moving the furniture in our home. They even figured out how to more easily move our sofa which we donated . . . Ingenious!!! They are highly recommended.

Alejandro and Jonathan were so easy to work with and understanding when the original donation center closed early and was willing to work with me to get it to two other donation centers with the final one accepting my donated furniture. Alejandro and Jonathan were so quick with the move and very efficient and friendly. I would hire them again. Thank you guys for helping me out today.

Octavio and Edy were both friendly and speedy. They went above and beyond by helping me with furniture and the recommendation of where to take stuff when it couldn't be donated. I highly recommend both of them.

Angel and Raul were great! They were fast, friendly, efficient and professional. When we ran into an issue at Goodwill, they were able to negotiate with the manager so our donated furniture would be accepted and could be resold vs brought to the dump. First time using Lugg and definitely will recommend this to family and friends in the city.

Armondo and Luis were incredible! They showed up on time. They were both very pleasant and easy to work with. They ensured that they were taking the right stuff. They worked well together as a team. They provided helpful information about what Goodwill would take. They helped problem solve when some furniture couldn’t be donated. They were incredibly efficient. Their help was invaluable. If we need moving services again I would most definitely hire them again and I would specifically ask for Armando and Luis.

On-time; very nice; efficient; after loading everything, helped us move a large item of furniture; oh, and when my cellphone was running out of juice, loaned me their charging cord while they finished loading everything; I had more stuff than would fit, but they did an excellent job of loading all the big stuff that I couldn’t handle, leaving me just the small stuff that I could handle myself; also tried to help me breakdown a ridiculously huge plastic storage bin so it wouldn’t take up all the truck space. They were taking stuff to be donated, and I think they did an excellent job, because there were items that Goodwill took that I was concerned they would reject, and Goodwill took them all!

The drivers were great. However, this is the first time I have been dissatisfied with Lugg. I'm surprised that Lugg doesn't provide any instructions on how donations work for the drivers or the customers. I would expect that the drivers would have a list of local places that accept donations, and a protocol for what to do if the donated items are rejected. This process took hours and a lot of calls and text messages with the drivers. I was asked for a backup plan if the donation site didn't accept the items and was surprised that Lugg didn't have this figured out in advance. Then I was asked to contact Lugg support and request a change to my order from donation to dump run. I emailed support, got no response, and the driver didn't get a response either. It's wonderful to have a truck available on demand, but either Lugg needs to have clearly defined procedures for handling donations, or the app needs to make it clear to the customers that they are responsible for making all arrangements including a backup plan if donated items are rejected.

Jagmohan and Daniel were great. Very polite and professional. Great communication letting me know when they would arrive. However, I was not happy at all with my overall experience. I was given a time slot between 4-5, less than 30 minutes before they were supposed to arrive I was told they'd be 40 minutes late. Then a few minutes later I was told they would be 1 hour and 55 minutes late. I contacted the driver who said they were 2 hours away. 10 minutes later I was told a new driver was on the way and would be there in 1 hour 30 minutes. They came over 2 hours later. I understand things happen and traffic is a factor but this was just a bit too much. Very unorganized. The donation center I wanted my furniture donated to closed at 9pm, I almost missed the cut off time. I live in a small apartment and needed the stuff out in order to bring my new stuff in. Completely threw off my entire day. I will not be using your services again. Not worth the price at all.

I could not have asked for a better team luggers then Paki and Sadiki. They were quick, professional, carrying and friendly . Paki even went above and beyond helping me find a different place to donate as the Good Will where I was scheduled to donate didn't exempt sofas that day . I would definitely use them again as the app is easy to use and you can get things lugged the same day very reasonably priced.
