10 STARS!!! Cannot say enough about Orandae. He was tasked with loading an impossibly heavy wardrobe (which was described - inaccurately - to me as "very light"). He was so incredibly kind and patient, and somehow never stopped smiling. He helped troubleshoot setting the wardrobe up (it came in multiple pieces) and even spent his time helping us level it to make sure it wouldn't tip over. DEFINITELY went above and beyond, and on his way out the door wished me a happy Mother's Day. I hope Lugg recognizes him - what a great guy. Juan and Maylon were so kind and so fast - I’m grateful because I don’t have an elevator so they carried furniture and large items up and down stairs, brought a cover for the mattress, were respectful to remove shoes to walk on carpet and even brought some equipment to dissemble and reassemble a bed frame. Erick and Joy did an excellent job! I scheduled the pick up and needed it in 2 hours. They showed up at the destination, worked with the sellers and brought the couch here to my place. They took a minute to plan the path into the apartment before bringing anything in, which made everything feel really smooth. One small note is the bungee cord used to secure the bed mechanism left a dirt mark on the white couch. I was able to get it out with soap and water, but something a bit cleaner or padded might help for lighter fabrics. Overall really good experience and I’d definitely use them again. - Matthew

The pickup was great. However, when they got to the drop off location, which was the west side housing works location, they were told that bed frames were not accepted. I had specifically filled out that I sending 2 twin bed frames and 4 counter stools, and dishes. As I found your company on the Housing works website, and entered exactly what I was donating, this makes no sense. Then there was a question as to whether I had paid you as a company- Lugg, which I also didn’t understand as I had given a credit card and a payment. It seems you have no association with housing works, and these two people don’t seem to actually work for you. Independent contractors perhaps? They were lovely, but the process was a failure. - Beverly

Our movers were great and very helpful lifting a very heavy couch up three flights of stairs. We selected the Lugger lite option, submitted photos and described our couch for pickup but it was clear that the base fee for lugger lite wasn’t a fair payment for the movers.
