Lugg can move almost anything that fits safely in your chosen truck — furniture, boxes, appliances, décor, business inventory, gym equipment, and more. Whether you're moving into, out of, or between Stuf Storage storage units, our crew handles the heavy lifting so you don't have to.

Does Lugg provide temporary storage?

Accepted Answer

No. Lugg doesn't operate storage facilities. We specialize in moving and delivery and can take your items **to or from** your Stuf Storage unit, including transfers between different facilities.

What supplies and protective equipment will my Luggers bring for my Stuf Storage move?

Accepted Answer

Every Lugg Stuf Storage move includes professional moving equipment — straps, dollies, moving blankets, and stretch wrap to protect your items and your space, plus a basic toolkit for light disassembly or reassembly. Pickup trucks also come equipped with a tarp for weather protection.

Your Luggers will wrap fragile or bulky pieces for safe transport, take care to avoid damage to floors, walls, and elevators, and are trained to move heavy furniture, appliances, and other large items safely through tight spaces, stairs, and doorways. This helps ensure a smooth, efficient Stuf Storage move from start to finish.

We do not provide moving boxes or mattress covers. Please have these items ready if needed.

Do I need to be present when moving items into or out of my Stuf Storage unit?

We recommend being present to provide gate codes, confirm your Stuf Storage unit's location, and direct the crew. If you can't be there, make sure your storage facility allows third-party access and that you've shared any required codes or authorizations before move day.

If you're on-site, you can guide the crew through access points. If not, include your Stuf Storage units gate code, key card, or instructions in the booking notes, and your Lugg crew will use those details to access your unit following the facility's rules.

What size truck and crew should I book for my Stuf Storage move?

Accepted Answer

The best truck depends on the size and scope of your Stuf Storage move. For most Stuf Storage moves involving heavy items, we **strongly recommend a 2-Lugger crew** to ensure everything is handled safely and efficiently. For smaller tasks, or when you'd like to assist, the Lugg Lite (1 Lugger + pickup truck) works great.

Here's a quick look at our truck dimensions to help you choose:

* Pickup: 6 ft+ long × 4.5 ft wide. The tailgate can stay open for extra length, and all items are secured with straps. 
* Van: 8 ft+ long × 4 ft wide × 4.5 ft tall. 
* XL: 10 ft+ long × 5.5 ft wide × 6.4 ft tall. 
* Box Truck: 12 ft+ long × 6 ft wide × 7 ft tall.

**Tip**: Our Pickup trucks include a tarp for light rain protection, but if the forecast calls for heavier rain, we recommend booking a covered truck, such as a Van, XL, or Box, for extra coverage.

If your Stuf Storage move requires a lift gate for loading or unloading, please book a Box Truck and add a note to your booking.

Can Lugg maximize space in my Stuf Storage unit by stacking and organizing items?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Your Luggers can carefully arrange your boxes and furniture to optimize space usage, provided the items can be safely stacked and the facility permits it.

Can Lugg move items between two Stuf Storage units within the same facility?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Just book a Lugg with your Stuf Storage facility address as both the pickup and destination, and your Luggers will handle the rest.

Can Lugg move items between different Stuf Storage facilities or cities?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We can transport your items from one storage location to another, even across cities, as long as both addresses are within our service area in the Greater  area.

Question 11

Do I need to pack my items before my Stuf Storage unit move-in?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Lugg does not provide packing services or supplies, so please box or bag any small, loose, or fragile items before your crew arrives. This includes things like kitchenware, electronics accessories, office supplies, dorm essentials, and any items that could shift during transport.

Your Luggers will bring moving supplies and equipment to protect furniture and larger pieces, but having your items packed ahead of time helps keep your move quick, organized, and damage-free.

Question 12

Can I book more than one truck or crew for a large storage move?

Accepted Answer

Yes. For big storage cleanouts or multiple-unit moves, you can book more than one truck and crew to assist. Just book another Lugg for the same time window, and we'll coordinate the additional crew and truck.

Question 13

What if I'm not sure what size Stuf Storage unit I need?

Accepted Answer

While we can't recommend specific sizes, our crew can give you feedback on-site if your chosen unit seems too small or too large for your belongings.

Question 14

What if my large furniture doesn't fit through the storage unit doors or hallways?

Accepted Answer

No problem, your Lugg crew can assist with any basic disassembly or assembly needed. If an item cannot be made to fit, you may need to rent a larger Stuf Storage unit or have the item returned to your pickup location.

Question 15

Do I get charged if the Stuf Storage storage facility denies access or my unit isn't ready?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Wait time and any additional stops are billable. To avoid extra charges, please ensure your Stuf Storage facility access is arranged and your unit is available before your crew arrives.

Question 16

What happens if an item gets damaged during my Stuf Storage move?

Accepted Answer

We always recommend inspecting your items upon arrival in your new space. In the rare event that damage occurs to your item(s) or your property, our Support Team will promptly review the issue, coordinate any necessary repairs or replacements, and work with you to make things right.
