What types of exercise equipment can Lugg move and deliver?

Lugg delivers all types of home gym and fitness equipment, from cardio machines to strength training gear and accessories. We move treadmills, ellipticals, exercise bikes (including Peloton and smart bikes), rowing machines, pilates reformers, weight benches, squat racks, compact cable machines, adjustable dumbbells, plates, kettlebells, boxed gym accessories, and more.

Does Lugg provide same-day & next-day elliptical deliveries?

Yes, Lugg provides on-demand, same-day, and next-day elliptical deliveries. You can book movers and a truck within the hour, or schedule up to 60 days in advance for a time that works best for you.

My building is a walk-up with stairs and no elevator, can Lugg still help with my elliptical delivery?

Yes, Luggers are experienced with walk-ups and tight spaces. Your Lugg crew will carefully bring your furniture to or from your room of choice, exactly where you want it. **Heavy elliptical notice:** Please confirm stairs are wide enough to accommodate safe placement, as Luggers can't hoist appliances or use ladders.

What size truck and crew should I book for my elliptical delivery?

Pick the truck that fits what you're moving. Almost every option is a two-Lugger booking, so crew size isn't usually the decision — the Lugg Lite is the exception. * Lite: 6 ft+ long × 4.5 ft wide. A single Lugger with a pickup truck, for a stack of boxes or a few lighter pieces. * Pickup: 6 ft+ long × 4.5 ft wide. The same truck as the Lite, with a second Lugger. * Van: 8 ft+ long × 4 ft wide × 4.5 ft tall. Enclosed, so better in bad weather. * XL: 10 ft+ long × 5.5 ft wide × 6.4 ft tall. * Box: 12–16 ft long × 6 ft wide × 7 ft tall. * Box+: 18–24 ft long × 6 ft wide × 7 ft tall. The largest option, built for commercial relocations and anything that needs maximum cargo space. **Tip**: Pickup trucks carry a tarp for light rain, but book an enclosed truck — Van, XL, Box or Box+ — if heavier rain is forecast. When in doubt, size up. Not all box trucks have a lift gate. If your elliptical delivery needs one, say so in the '**What are you moving?**' field when booking and Lugg will do its best to accommodate.

Are there size or weight limits for my elliptical delivery?

Weight is 250 lbs per item on a standard elliptical delivery, and there's no limit on how many items you move. Size just comes down to which Lugg truck you book. The Lugg Lite is the exception on weight — it only comes with a single Lugger, so 125 lbs per item. For anything heavier than 250 lbs, book more than one Lugg in the same or overlapping time windows, or have someone on site to help lift.

How do I get my elliptical ready for the delivery?

Clear a 3–4 ft path around it, unplug it, and take off anything loose, like weight plates, a screen or tablet, or a water bottle. If it folds, fold it and lock it in place. Measure the doorways and stairwells at both ends so you know it will fit, and reserve an elevator or loading dock if your building requires it. If your elliptical has to be taken apart to fit through a doorway or into the truck, book the manufacturer's or a certified technician to do that before the move and to put it back together after. Treadmills, exercise bikes, rowers, ellipticals and cable machines can need specific tools and torque settings, and the wrong teardown can void a warranty. Once it's ready, Lugg moves it in one piece or in the pieces it's already in.

Do Luggers bring tools or equipment for moving exercise machines?

Yes, every Lugg delivery comes with moving equipment: straps, dollies, moving blankets and stretch wrap to protect your elliptical in transit and while it's placed in your home. Luggers also carry basic hand tools, like a screwdriver with bits or a drill, and an Allen key or hex wrench. Luggers move heavy exercise equipment through tight spaces, stairs and doorways every day, but they aren't trained exercise-equipment technicians, so assembly and disassembly should be handled by the manufacturer's or a certified technician.

Can Lugg pick up from a store like Dick's Sporting Goods or from Facebook Marketplace?

Yes, Lugg can pick up your elliptical from stores like Dick's Sporting Goods, Best Buy, or local fitness retailers, as well as warehouses and marketplace sellers. Once your crew is en route, you can also call and text directly to relay any additional or last-minute details. **Tip**: Upload a photo or receipt during booking so we grab the correct model and accessories. For marketplace pickups, add the seller's number as an "Additional Contact" so the crew can coordinate directly.

Can Lugg pick up multiple pieces of exercise equipment in one delivery?

Yes, you can load as much as safely fits into your chosen truck, from a pickup to a box truck. Need multiple stops? Lugg supports up to 5 pickups or drop-offs per Lugg, so you can coordinate multi-location gym setups in one booking.

Can Lugg pick up my new elliptical and haul away, recycle, or donate the old one on the same trip?

Yes, Lugg can pick up your new elliptical and then haul away the old one to a recycling facility or donate it to a local charity, including donation centers like [Goodwill](https://lugg.com/goodwill-donation-pickup) or [Habitat ReStore](https://lugg.com/habitat-for-humanity-donation-pickup). Just add an extra stop when booking your delivery. If your new elliptical is coming from a partner store, that extra stop means your Lugg is priced as a standard Lugg, with labor billed by the minute at every stop. **Tip**: Donation and disposal centers vary widely in what they accept, so we recommend calling ahead to confirm they can take your elliptical, along with their hours and any potential fees.

What happens if my elliptical gets damaged during the delivery?

We always recommend inspecting your elliptical upon arrival. In the rare event that damage occurs to your item(s) or your property, our Support Team will promptly review the issue, coordinate any necessary repairs or replacements, and work with you to make things right. To file a damage claim, [get in touch through our contact page](https://lugg.com/contact) or use live chat. We'll guide you through the next steps and may ask you to hold the item while we review and resolve the issue as quickly as possible. For more details, see our Help Center article: [What if my items or location get damaged?](https://lugg.com/help/after/what-if-my-items-or-location-get-damaged)

Can Lugg deliver exercise equipment to a gym, studio, or business?

Yes, Lugg serves commercial gyms, fitness studios, and offices with flexible delivery scheduling and larger truck options (Van, XL, or Box). Ideal for fitness studios, apartment gyms, or corporate wellness centers needing professional delivery or relocation.

Jay and Jordan arrived on time with smiles, introductory handshake’s and were ready to work. The heavy elliptical machine was loaded, unloaded and maneuvered through tight spaces to its location inside our house with their skill and strength. My expectations were exceeded hiring much needed help from the Lugg app. The scheduling was easy, the price reasonable and Jay and Jordan are high quality workers! Thank you guys. It was my first time using Lugg and it won’t be my last. I’ve already recommended to one person and will continue to do so. - MARY

They were very efficient but also very careful with the elliptical. Made absolutely no scuffs on the walls or stair railings despite a quite difficult ( nearly impossible) turn on the basement stairway. It looked like there was no way the bulky machine would make it down the stairs, but they patiently, methodically made it happen! My wife and I clapped when they reached the basement, it was such a remarkable achievement. We highly recommend Guillermo and Alfredo. They are a great team! - Gary
