I found a large piece of used furniture online, checked it out in person, and before I even paid for it, got confirmation that these guys would arrive within an hour. ONE hour!? At the click of a button to give me immediate gratification of having this sweet piece of high-end furniture that I scoured off Nextdoor picked up and dropped off at my apartment. This service opens up all new possibilities for redecorating and changing new pieces of furniture that I otherwise would have to pay some fancy storefront hundreds of dollars to deliver and even hundreds more to buy new from. This transaction alone allowed me to get my piece at less than 20% of the price new AND all within the span of an HOUR (not accounting for Bay Area traffic) FUCKIN MAGIC! More importantly, Lugg wouldn’t work without he hardworking guys willing to drive through hours of traffic to show up with a smile, pick up my treasure/booty, all the whole treating it as it it was their own property, and BEATING me to the drop off destination. Their van is huge and clean and everything arrived in perfect condition. It doesn't hurt that they were delightful company and total mensches. The Dwayne and Kevin duo was great. I was holding my breath worried about the move (large and heavy dining table plus steep stairs to my office suite, which is in a really old building and is probably “grandfathered in” instead of meeting current building code requirements- know what I’m sayin’?), but Dwayne and Kevin are pros, and the Facebook marketplace said that they were really careful with loading the dining table and chairs. I now have a nice extendable glass top dining table in my conference room, and I couldn’t be more pleased. - Lynn
First experience using Lugg to move a white sofa I bought on FB marketplace. Very impressed with sophistication of these movers! They wrapped the couch in plastic, sealed up the cushions in clean containers and had two dollies. I think we tend to underestimate weight/size of items we want to move but im so glad I opted for the van vs truck and 2 guys versus opting to be the helper for a discount. It did add about 40% to the cost of my couch but still a deal. - Terra
