What is the process for using Lugg to deliver my Jerome's purchase?

It's simple! Here's the process: 1. Buy your Jerome's furniture: Complete your purchase at the store or the Jerome's website and select "in-store pickup." 2. Get the receipt: Hold onto your order confirmation or receipt. You'll need to upload a photo of it when you book. 3. Book your Lugg: Schedule a Lugg for pickup within the hour. Enter the store's address as your pickup location and your home as the drop-off. 4. We handle the rest: Your Luggers will load, transport, and place your Jerome's furniture in the room of your choice.

Do I need to be at the Jerome's store for pickup?

No, you don't! As long as you upload a clear photo of your receipt or order confirmation from the Jerome's store, your Luggers can handle the pickup for you. Some Jerome's locations may require additional verification, and we will contact you if that's the case.

What if I buy something in a local Jerome's store and want it delivered the same day?

That's what we specialize in! You can book a Lugg right from the Jerome's store or parking lot. Our crew can often arrive for pickup within the hour, getting your new Jerome's furniture home faster than traditional delivery. If you prefer to schedule ahead, you can book your Lugg for the hour of your choice up to 60 days in advance.

Do I need to provide an order number or Jerome's store receipt?

Yes, upload your digital receipt or provide your Jerome's order confirmation number when booking so our crew can easily locate your Jerome's furniture at the store.

Can Lugg pick up my Jerome's store order if it hasn't been paid for yet?

No, Lugg crews cannot complete payment at the store. Please ensure your Jerome's purchase is fully paid for and ready for pickup before booking.

Will Lugg wait if my Jerome's order isn't ready when they arrive?

For stores inside our partner network receiving flat rate delivery, we will wait up to 15 minutes for your order at no additional cost. For wait times over 15 minutes, you may need to re-schedule. For stores outside of our partner network, wait time is billable at your normal labor rate. To avoid charges, confirm with Jerome's that your order is ready for pickup before booking.

Can Lugg take away my old furniture when delivering my new purchase?

Yes, Lugg can pick up your new furniture and then haul away the old one to a recycling facility or donate it to a local charity, including donation centers like [Goodwill](https://lugg.com/goodwill-donation-pickup) or [Habitat ReStore](https://lugg.com/habitat-for-humanity-donation-pickup). Just add an extra stop when booking your delivery. If you're buying from a partner store, that extra stop means your Lugg is priced as a standard Lugg, with labor billed by the minute at every stop. **Tip**: Donation and disposal centers vary widely in what they accept, so we recommend calling ahead to confirm they can take your furniture, along with their hours and any potential fees.

What if I find damage to my furniture upon arrival?

Please inspect your furniture upon delivery. If you find damage upon receiving your furniture, or discover defects from the store, note it immediately with your crew and contact the Jerome's store for assistance. If damage to your furniture occurred during transport, please [contact us](https://lugg.com/contact) to file a damage claim. We will ask you to hold your furniture as we work to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

What supplies and protective equipment will my Luggers bring for my Jerome's delivery?

Every Lugg Jerome's delivery includes professional moving equipment, straps, dollies, moving blankets, and stretch wrap to protect your items and your space, plus a basic toolkit for light disassembly or reassembly. Pickup trucks also come equipped with a tarp for weather protection. Your Luggers will wrap fragile or bulky pieces for safe transport, take care to avoid damage to floors, walls, and elevators, and move heavy furniture, appliances, and other large items safely through tight spaces, stairs, and doorways. This helps ensure a smooth, efficient Jerome's delivery from start to finish.

What happens if my new furniture doesn't fit through my doorway?

You are responsible for measuring your doorways, hallways, and stairwells to ensure your furniture will fit before booking. Your furniture cannot be delivered because it doesn't fit, it can be placed in an alternate location at your destination or be returned to the Jerome's store of purchase. If you prefer the item is returned to the store, you will be charged for the initial delivery attempt and for the additional return trip.

Can Lugg pick up my furniture from multiple stores in one trip?

Yes, Lugg supports up to 5 pickups or drop-offs per Lugg, so you can coordinate multi-store pickups in one easy delivery. Just add each store as a stop when booking.

How much does a Lugg cost?

Lugg prices every booking as a base fare for the vehicle you pick, a per-mile rate for the distance between your stops, and labor billed by the minute with no hourly minimum. You'll see your upfront estimate before you book, including a small variable booking fee, and rates vary by city. The vehicle you pick sets most of the price, so a single piece of furniture in a Lite or Pickup costs much less than a full apartment in a Box. Routes over 30 miles add a long-distance fee, which is already in your estimate, and a Movers only job has no mileage at all.

We had such a wonderful experience with Mike! He delivered our fireplace and assembled it for us, and the care he brought to the entire experience made our evening feel truly special. From delivery through assembly, Mike was professional, courteous, and attentive. We appreciated the time and effort he put into getting our fireplace set up and ready for us to enjoy. Having someone handle both the delivery and assembly made the experience so much easier, and his helpful attitude added a personal touch that meant a great deal to us. What stood out most was that Mike did more than complete a service—he helped make a special addition to our home a wonderful memory. We were excited about our new fireplace, and being able to enjoy it together that very night made us even happier. Thank you, Mike, for your hard work, professionalism, and kindness. You made our night special, and we are truly grateful. We would gladly recommend you to anyone looking for thoughtful, professional delivery and assembly service! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - Helen
