These guys were great and helped me disassemble a peloton treadmill. They took a lot of time and care and I would highly recommend! - Lucas

Tried very hard to move my treadmill. Ended up not being able to do it without taking it apart so they gave up but I appreciate how hard they worked. - Betsy

Onon and Myles were efficient, nice, and thorough! They not only moved a heavy treadmill but also took time to troubleshoot a wire that had come detached, making sure that the treadmill was fully functional when they left. Would definitely recommend them! - Meredith

They were amazing! Helped me move a treadmill that was much heavier/larger than expected. This required taking it apart to get it through the door and then putting it back together. They were awesome and super helpful. - Andrea

Ricardo and Justen came to move a treadmill out of my house and down the street to a neighbor’s. This particular treadmill is insanely heavy and it needed to be transported around several tight corners and narrow hallways. Justen and Ricardo took the time to think through how to navigate best and were extremely careful of floors and walls. They were polite, positive, and friendly, and they definitely went above and beyond on a tough job! Thank you! - Elaine

Excellent! Moved a heavy treadmill down to my basement. Did it quickly and mindful of the house and walls! - Darren

They were very efficient but also very careful with the elliptical. Made absolutely no scuffs on the walls or stair railings despite a quite difficult ( nearly impossible) turn on the basement stairway. It looked like there was no way the bulky machine would make it down the stairs, but they patiently, methodically made it happen! My wife and I clapped when they reached the basement, it was such a remarkable achievement. We highly recommend Guillermo and Alfredo. They are a great team! - Gary

First, Alfredo and Riley were awesome. An elliptical is not an easy thing to lift and move. They did it flawlessly! The overall process and pricing using Lugg was really good. A strong value, easy to use and good updates means I will definitely us Lugg whenever I need this kind of help. Randy - Randy

Super friendly guys who did a great job moving some awkward pieces of furneture through tight areas. Gave me a great first impression of the service. - Alex

Onon and Ben excelled in every step of the process. From picking up the bed to delivery. The Mattress they delivered to us was heavy and awkward but, they made moving it look easy. Thank you both! - Brieana

The greenhouse they moved was not heavy but awkward and they were able to negotiate some tricky situations. - Sue

Heavy king bed base & heavy, floppy, awkward mattress moved to back bedroom and set up. All with good spirits even though it was a struggle. So happy in our new bed!! Thanks Christian & Anarad! - Andy

Thomas & Scott were friendly and got the heavy lifting done quickly. I would definitely hire them again. - Jenn
The statue was very heavy but the crew managed beautifully. I provided a cash tip because they totally deserved it. - Sherry

Jose and Bryan were hands down the best Lugg movers and they moved heavy bulky brand new and expensive furniture with care and professionalism. Definitely 5 star movers and would use again!! Left them tip in cash but adding extra for stellar job. - Phi

These guys made moving heavy items seem like child's play. We are so. So. So grateful. Will absolutely use again. - Willie

James and Onon made it look easy moving our expensive, one of a kind, and very heavy petrified wood table. They didn't seem to struggle with the weight and repositioned it several times for us until it was perfectly located. I would recommend this two person crew to others and be happy to use them again. - Patrick

They were both SO AMAZING! They were so nice. I had a very heavy cabinet that needed to go upstairs. They worked hard to get it up there. They were very careful not to hit walls or scrape the floors. Just an excellent job! - Teresa

We had an extremely heavy lift with some hard stairs, and they got it up quickly and efficiently. Great work! - Jordan

They took care of a very heavy object, unpacked it moved it and took away all the packing materials. They made my work much easier. Great guys and job😊 - Gerald

Nathan and Isaac were the best! They had something HEAVY to move but got the job done and made it look easy! Would use them again! - Michelle

Rodney and Scott were incredibly friendly and courteous. They carried a heavy recliner up 3 flights of stairs. Thanks again guys! - Fernando

Lugg moves gym and fitness equipment between homes, apartments, storage units and commercial gyms, and the thing worth checking before you book is what the heaviest single piece weighs, because that decides how many movers you need. Lugg's weight limit is 125 pounds per Lugger, or 250 pounds per item on any vehicle that comes with two Luggers: Pickup, Van, XL, Box or Box+. Lugg is an on-demand moving and delivery service that moves gym, fitness and exercise equipment in Fort Collins, with a truck and the muscle to load it, for pieces that are too heavy and too awkward to shift alone.
The only number that matters is the heaviest single piece. Under 125 pounds one Lugger can carry it, so any Lugg works, including a Lite. Between 125 and 250 pounds you need a vehicle that comes with two Luggers. Over 250, book a second Lugg for the same day and time with the same two addresses, and both crews arrive together.
| Piece | Typical weight |
|---|---|
| Mats, bands, kettlebells | 5-50 lb each |
| Adjustable bench | 40-70 lb |
| Olympic barbell | 45 lb, about 7 ft long |
| Plates | 2.5-45 lb each |
| Spin or exercise bike | 100-140 lb |
| Elliptical | 150-250 lb |
| Power rack or squat rack | 200-400 lb |
| Cable machine or functional trainer | 400-700 lb with the stacks in |
A rack, a bench and a full set of plates going to the same address is still one job, because the limit is per item and not per load. Three things are worth doing before the crew arrives: box the small plates and leave the 45s stacked to be carried singly, take the bar and any long attachments off the rack, and measure the narrowest turn on the route rather than the doorway.
Cable machines and functional trainers are the ones to plan around. The stacks, pulleys and cables are a torque-specific rebuild, cable tension has to be set correctly for the machine to work safely, and the warranty on most of them is sensitive to who did the work. Book the manufacturer's technician for the teardown and the rebuild, and book Lugg for the transport in between. The same goes for anything still under warranty that you'd rather not open up.
Whatever does come apart, bag the bolts and tape the bag to the frame they came off, so nothing arrives as a pile of parts with the hardware missing.
The truck and crew size you pick sets the base fare and factors in the distance between your addresses, then labor runs by the minute once the crew arrives at each location, with no hourly minimums. Lugg movers carry equipment up stairs, into elevators and down long hallways. Enter both addresses and you'll see the estimate before anything is confirmed. Up to five stops fit on one booking, so clearing a rack out to a storage unit and dropping the plates somewhere else is one job, and moving equipment from one room to another in the same building is a booking like any other. If you're replacing equipment rather than relocating it, the old machine can ride along as an extra stop to a recycling center or donation site you choose.
