Demarion and Ancil were truly my heroes today! After multiple failed delivery attempts with Taskrabbit, they were my last hope. They managed to maneuver an extremely heavy and large couch up multiple flights of stairs without AC. I truly cannot thank them enough! - Sydney
These guys are awesome, they moved a heavy piano like 300 lb, they were not ready for it but accepted the challenge and did it nicely, would recommend - Sachin
I had a super heavy aquarium and stairs only. They wrapped it up nicely and moved it up to my room, unpackaged it and put it on the stand exactly where I wanted. Couldn't be happier! - Alan
Joshua and Al were incredibly helpful, came with positive attitudes and ready to lift heavy, and even arrived a few minutes early! Couldn’t have asked for better help. Would book with them again, thanks guys! - Christy
Senad and Nathan were great! Had all the tools and equipment needed, even helped dismantle my fridge when needed to get it through narrow entryway. Went the extra mile and did all the heavy lifting, couldn’t have done it without them. Highly recommend!!! - Amir
Prompt. They checked / inspected merchandise and sent me pictures of existing defects. They communicated very well and were on time. This was also a heavy piece of furniture and treated it with care. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would! - Luis
Jay and Nathan were awesome, they were patient and resourceful about finding a quick solution to getting a very heavy table delivered and set up - Tendai
I couldn’t be happier with the service from Steele & Nathan as my Lugg movers! They handled my super heavy drawer with such care and skill, delivering it to the second floor without any issues. They truly went above and beyond, even helping us unwrap the drawer – something that wasn’t even part of their job. Their professionalism and willingness to go the extra mile made the whole moving experience stress-free. Highly recommend them for anyone looking for reliable and hardworking movers!” - Nathan
Leonard and Darrell delivered a heavy table for me. They were on time, professional and moved my table inside carefully. - Marianna
The guys were wonderful, so courteous and very careful. The furniture was heavy and going up and down stairs with turns but they handled it great. I will definitely use Lugg again! - Jenny
These two gentlemen were quick, efficient and polite. I suggested they come through the side of the house so they would not have to carry the piece as far but they informed me that it wasn't very heavy and they would be happy to come through the front or the side. After placing the dining table where I wanted it, they very quickly removed the blankets and wrapping and were on their way. This is my second Lugg experience and I will definitely use you again! - Shannon
They made sure that the walls didn’t get hit and some of the things were very heavy. They were very polite and respectful too. - Susan
The movers arrived on time and did a great job moving items from our garage into two bedrooms after we refinished our floors. This was a quick and easy solution to moving a few heavy items we did not want to move on our own! Thanks guys :) - Susan
These guys were terrific, I can highly recommend. I hired them to deliver a super heavy gun safe and they were right on schedule, friendly, and put it right were I wanted it. Absolutely 5 stars! - Andrew
Adrian and Ancil are top notch! Delivered a very heavy dresser quickly and without a single scuff. Will use them every time!! - M
My heart sank when they mentioned about my dresser being too heavy to carry due to the maximum being 200 lbs. However, they were determined to find a way to get the dresser moved: I was so surprised that my dresser could have it shelves removed. They also set the items in storage very convenient. - LaLa
Unfortunately, I live on the third floor and they had to carry a heavy piece of furniture up the stairs. They were rockstars! - Peggy
They were great! Had no problem taking the heavy boxes up my steep staircase & did it with a smile! Will request them the next time I use Lugg!!!! - Kellie
Enrique provided great customer service. Very helpful with my move and in bringing the heavy IKEA boxes into each of my rooms. Really appreciated that he did that!! - Neil
Love two employees, next time I think two people who can actually lift heavy stuff is best. I had to help movers myself to be able to accomplish the task and it set my work schedule back. - Patricio
Justin and Sean are amazing! The drawers are extremely heavy that I couldn’t imagine how to move it without their help! Definitely would love to work with them again. Justin is super strong :) taking furnitures without a stop!!!! - Shiqi
Quick Responses. Perfect Handoff. Went above and beyond to carry very heavy stuff on to 2nd level and place it where I wanted. Thanks! - Siddhesh
Adrian was really nice and even brought my 3 heavy packages into my house! Would definitely use this service again - Casey
Steven was kind and efficient. He helped us carry our heavy furniture package to the second floor of our home up some narrow stairs. Great guy and great job! - Gracie

Lugg moves gym and fitness equipment between homes, apartments, storage units and commercial gyms, and the thing worth checking before you book is what the heaviest single piece weighs, because that decides how many movers you need. Lugg's weight limit is 125 pounds per Lugger, or 250 pounds per item on any vehicle that comes with two Luggers: Pickup, Van, XL, Box or Box+. Lugg is an on-demand moving and delivery service that moves gym, fitness and exercise equipment in Bedford, with a truck and the muscle to load it, for pieces that are too heavy and too awkward to shift alone.
The only number that matters is the heaviest single piece. Under 125 pounds one Lugger can carry it, so any Lugg works, including a Lite. Between 125 and 250 pounds you need a vehicle that comes with two Luggers. Over 250, book a second Lugg for the same day and time with the same two addresses, and both crews arrive together.
| Piece | Typical weight |
|---|---|
| Mats, bands, kettlebells | 5-50 lb each |
| Adjustable bench | 40-70 lb |
| Olympic barbell | 45 lb, about 7 ft long |
| Plates | 2.5-45 lb each |
| Spin or exercise bike | 100-140 lb |
| Elliptical | 150-250 lb |
| Power rack or squat rack | 200-400 lb |
| Cable machine or functional trainer | 400-700 lb with the stacks in |
A rack, a bench and a full set of plates going to the same address is still one job, because the limit is per item and not per load. Three things are worth doing before the crew arrives: box the small plates and leave the 45s stacked to be carried singly, take the bar and any long attachments off the rack, and measure the narrowest turn on the route rather than the doorway.
Cable machines and functional trainers are the ones to plan around. The stacks, pulleys and cables are a torque-specific rebuild, cable tension has to be set correctly for the machine to work safely, and the warranty on most of them is sensitive to who did the work. Book the manufacturer's technician for the teardown and the rebuild, and book Lugg for the transport in between. The same goes for anything still under warranty that you'd rather not open up.
Whatever does come apart, bag the bolts and tape the bag to the frame they came off, so nothing arrives as a pile of parts with the hardware missing.
The truck and crew size you pick sets the base fare and factors in the distance between your addresses, then labor runs by the minute once the crew arrives at each location, with no hourly minimums. Lugg movers carry equipment up stairs, into elevators and down long hallways. Enter both addresses and you'll see the estimate before anything is confirmed. Up to five stops fit on one booking, so clearing a rack out to a storage unit and dropping the plates somewhere else is one job, and moving equipment from one room to another in the same building is a booking like any other. If you're replacing equipment rather than relocating it, the old machine can ride along as an extra stop to a recycling center or donation site you choose.
