Movers and a truck in Schertz, in one booking
Moving out of a studio, clearing a storage unit, or taking a few pieces of furniture across town, and you need people and a truck at the same time? Lugg is an on-demand moving and delivery service where one Lugg covers both: movers with a truck who load, drive and unload your things, so there's no truck to rent, and no friends to round up. Movers are on the way within the hour, or you pick a one-hour window that suits you, up to 60 days out. You'll see an upfront estimate before you book, with no hourly minimums. Already have a truck? Lugg's labor-only movers handle just the loading and unloading.
Which truck fits your move
Here's how to choose the right fit. When in doubt, size up.
- Lite is for a stack of boxes, luggage, or lightweight furniture like coffee tables and accent chairs. It's the one-mover option.
- Pickup handles a few large items like a refrigerator, a washer/dryer, or a sofa.
- Van is for several pieces of furniture, or fragile things like art and plants that need an enclosed vehicle.
- XL takes a studio or small one-bedroom, and bulky oversized items including a king mattress.
- Box is for 2+ bedroom homes, home staging, and multiple bulky pieces.
- Box+ is the largest option, for 3+ bedroom homes and commercial relocations.
What the movers do in Schertz
Lugg movers bring dollies, furniture blankets, stretch wrap, lifting straps and tie-down straps. They carry everything out, up or down the stairs, wrap and strap it in the truck, and set it down in the rooms you choose at the other end.
Big moves and heavy pieces
A larger home sometimes takes two Luggs, and that's normal. Lugg's weight limit is 125 lbs per Lugger, or 250 lbs per item on any vehicle that comes with two Luggers: Pickup, Van, XL, Box or Box+. Anything heavier needs more Luggers on the job, so book a second Lugg for the same time window.
Packing, stops and distance
Have boxes packed and sealed before your movers arrive. One Lugg holds up to 5 stops, so a storage unit, an old apartment and a new one can all go on the same booking, and a move can run up to 150 miles. You can track your movers live from pickup to drop-off.
