Lugg for the rescue! My husband and I were moving states for his residency when we had the great idea of helping ourselves out of an added stressful situation. For the first time ever, we decided to splurge on a moving company to help us with the process. I didn't do my research enough, as the company I had just signed a contract with online, turned out to be a total scam. So after asking the keyboard warriors of reddit for some moving advice, I was anointed with the godsend that is Lugg! Seriously, Eric is the best, helped us out so much. The guys who showed up helped us load the moving truck from our 2nd story storage unit in PHX, within a matter of like a little over an hour. It would've taken me and my husband 2 full days, at least. Loved the little car icon that showed me when the movers were almost there on the map, loved the professionalism of the 2 gentlemen who just knocked it out with an added sense of humor that just made it that much more enjoyable. I was a little confused on how to hire 2 drivers without need for their truck, just needed for moving from storage into Uhaul, but I figured it out on the website. The guy only made like $120 to split, so I tipped them like $30 each, there is an option. And they get paid after they leave, all done through the app, making it a lot less awkward. Fumbling around with money is just always an awkward thing for me, so definitely loved that. Everyone liked some other app, task rabbit was suggested on reddit, but the people who did the tasking just complained about all sorts of stuff, and it just didn't seem like the types of attitudes I'd want moving my valuables with care. Lugg didn't have THAT much of a presence, I had to dig a bit, but, I realized it's because it's only available in select cities. So although offered in Phoenix, we were on our own to unload in San Antonio. Which was fine for our situation. All around, it was legit, and I've recommended it to several people, especially those who may just want to prevent a sore back, or maybe don't know anyone who can help them and are on a deadline or something. If I remember correctly, they do offer transportation, or even just help. I believe you make a ticket and jot down everything you need and any of the people who work through the app, will choose your ticket, you don't get to pick who agrees to help you either. We were moving things for a good 2 hours before we got a response, but it was like midday Monday, so keep that in mind also. Oh, and add details in your ticket, details make everything in life better, anyway. Lugg is excellent. Recommend 10/10. I'd give them 100 stars if I could, but if only 5 I can give, then so be it. - Ashley
