John was great and helped us move some donation items! In the end, some items were not accepted and John helped get them back to us with grace!
I accidentally sent these guys to the wrong donation drop-off location and they took the time to contact me and drive over to the right spot. I really appreciated the extra help!!

He picked up items for donation very efficiently, and arrive at drop off before it opened. He stuck around to see if there was a way to drop it off and someone was able to let him in. Lansana really made my day with his persistence and helped take a huge weight off my shoulders!
They came quickly and loaded all of our donations into the back of their Sprinter van. Goodwill kind of screwed us because they said they take furniture on their website. But thankfully, our Luggers found a new family for our chairs outside of the Goodwill. Life is funny but I'm happy they went to a new home!
Alonso and Denmark right on time. Alonso was exceptional - friendly, professional. Both worked efficiently and were out of my home quickly and made a prompt delivery to the nonprofit where I donated the furniture.

McHarland and Hotson were excellent movers - arrived early; worked efficently; moved our stuff quickly (across manhattan!) to our new location; easy unload and dropoff. highly recommend them and Lugg for this type of work in NYC.

They brought all of my furniture and boxes from two floors into a 3-story building, even took apart bed frames and reassembled them. They took great care in handling fragile items as well. Just exemplary service, very kind and friendly movers who were professional beyond belief. I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone, and great employees to be working for Lugg.

Moving heavy pieces and navigating stairs wasn’t easy, but they managed it without any issues. I really appreciated how smooth they made the whole process. MIRACLE WORKERS! I was so worried about bringing up my XL dresser to my new 5th story home and they made it happen with not a scratch on my furniture. So grateful they were my movers!!! Very professional, wrapped all belongings in blankets and movers wrap. Would love to use this dynamic duo again for future moves.

The movers were fine, but a glitch happened with your technology and told the movers I had cancelled when I had not, and that caused confusion, waste of time and frustration in getting it figured out and getting the furniture delivered. It’d be nice to have some acknowledgement and a discount for the inconvenience. Thanks

Both gentlemen were extremely professional, on time, and quick on their toes when it came to finding creative ways to get my sofa into my apartment. They were open minded, communicative, and handled everything with confidence and care. I was honestly very nervous going into this, but they immediately made me feel comfortable and confident in trusting the service. Everything from their communication to their efficiency was excellent. I truly loved the entire experience and would absolutely use this service again. I sincerely hope I am able to request Gilbert and Glenroy in the future. They were outstanding movers and a great representation of your company. Thank you so much.
My feedback doesn’t have to do with the two actual movers who were lovely, but with the company, which is an absolute wreck! Will absolutely not be using again. For piece of mind and to save my own time, I chose to use lugg to transport one piece of furniture that I was purchasing from someone. Of course they didn’t even let me know until after my pickup window expired, through an automated text that it will be over an over before my item will even be picked up. The seller of my item left… meanwhile there’s no number to call! I spend over an hour trying to “chat” with “support” which took forever because there were severe gaps of time waiting for each response, just to further give me no helpful information. I begged the seller to come back and gave another time frame to lugg… (same day) AGAIN the same thing happened… after the time ran out, only then was I texted that it will be again over an hour before anyone will come to pick it up… again… nothing from a real person and I once again had to go through the dreaded chat. Terrible terrible terrible service. In the end I wasted way more time and money and got no peace of mind whatsoever!!!! It’s a shame because you’re doing your own workers a disservice. The movers were lovely.
