The movers were great and did the most they could out of the situation. However, the small moving van I had ordered never came and instead a 24ft giant moving truck came which significantly delayed the whole process as it did not fit in the original location, parking, or loading/unloading areas. - Julia

While they were very nice they seemed inexperienced. The driver ran into the garage and smashed the furniture. They also had extreme trouble loading the truck. Again- nice and polite. They were even very quick to contact lugg and tell them the situation. - Merissa

My experience with the boys were great but I was charged $68 when I first ordered the van and then after that I got another charge on top of it for $30. Guys were great and moved everything up a ton of flights of stairs, I feel like I should be able to specify that in the app so the guys know what they're getting themselves into. Overall it felt semi-professional and they could be a little more efficient (I had to point them towards Dollys at the storage unit to speed up the process because they only had a mini roller). They could wrap fragile things (I asked for a painting to be wrapped, but in the end they didn't do it). I hired these two to move my home items from a 5×15 Somerville storage unit to a Waltham 1BR apartment. They arrived before their scheduled window, loaded all my things with speed and care, and checked I was ready to go under an hour. I encountered some bad traffic during the moving trip and reached my apartment some time after them, but they were patient and out of their van the moment they saw me arrive. Here's how to choose the right fit. When in doubt, size up.
Lugg movers bring dollies, furniture blankets, stretch wrap, lifting straps and tie-down straps. They carry everything out, up or down the stairs, wrap and strap it in the truck, and set it down in the rooms you choose at the other end.
A larger home sometimes takes two Luggs, and that's normal. Lugg's weight limit is 125 lbs per Lugger, or 250 lbs per item on any vehicle that comes with two Luggers: Pickup, Van, XL, Box or Box+. Anything heavier needs more Luggers on the job, so book a second Lugg for the same time window.
