They arrived at pickup and destination exactly on time. There was some confusion with pickup times given by the furniture store, and Jamar and Cameron were completely flexible and easy going. The sofa was a bit of a heavy load and the doorway needed to have parts removed to make the delivery more accessible. Jamar was quick to come up with a solution and never seemed stressed. - Roger
We were super impressed with the ease, convenience, and affordability of hiring Lugg. We had a large piece of furniture to pickup from a store outside of Philly and transport to our home in Maryland. The luggers (Tiyum and Jahi) communicated well, we loved the reassurance of being able to track their progress, and when they got here in pouring rain, they skillfully brought the furniture upstairs and helped us assemble it. the communication throughout the process was beyond excellent. outside of that, watching these 2 carry the furniture was beyond painful. it was lime watching the movie “Dumb and Dumber” in slow motion. Picked up a FB Marketplace find from Fishtown to my apartment in University City. The moved a large piece of furniture down a super narrow hall with ease. And they were lovely! Would book them again in a heartbeat! - Laura-Ann
I left them cash tip. Good job. They were very friendly. My only advice is to consider covering furniture with blankets when they move as an extra layer of protection. I have also seen other movers use shoulder straps to help make the move easier. - Michael
Eileen and Nygee were great! Eileen figured out how to get furniture into my basement despite my very small doorways. However, I’m not happy with Lugg’s system of assigning Luggers. If you tell customers that they’re “booking” a one hour delivery period, you should be able to deliver within that window or close to it. I waited in an empty house for four and a half hours without any useful information from Lugg. An hour after the time period that I booked had passed, I contacted Lugg customer service on line, and waited 49 minutes (after being greeted by a bot who said she’d put a representative on the line) before receiving a message that my Luggers were on the way to pick up my delivery. (They were a half hour away from the pickup location.). Despite the pleasant efficiency of Eileen and Nygee, I doubt I’ll use Lugg again. - Emily
