Tim and Nelson arrived promptly at the scheduled time and were able to move my belongings from my second floor apartment to the moving truck outside very efficiently. They moved a mattress, several pieces of furniture and ~6 boxes in only 15 minutes. Would highly recommend! - Kaye
Shawn and Jonathan were awesome. We bought a recliner to put in my mother’s room at the retirement village and it wouldn’t fit in the back of my SUV. We needed to coordinate around the meal schedule for the residents and not impede the movement of wheelchairs in and out of the elevator and hallways. Shawn and Jonathan jumped right to it. Got the box in their truck at Costco, followed us to the facility, wheeled it in and up to her room, got it in place and disposed of the box all while warmly greeting residents and staff at the facility including my bedridden Mom. Thank you for making this not only a painless process but pleasant as well. - Michelle
They were both great. I’m not sure if they’re gonna get chosen or someone else to do the second run but if they don’t, then I should get a discount cause I didn’t get a big truck and one load in the smaller truck, but they did everything great and I was very happy with them - Lee
Friendly and seemed to care about doing a good job. Took care in wrapping up my TV and loading it protected in the truck. - Susan
Omar was friendly and enthusiastic with doing his job. He moved the boxes from his truck into the apartment complex and then into my unit. - Pratyush
They were absolutely amazing! Fast and efficient. Nice truck—courteous. I HIGHLY recommend them and would book again! - Derek
We wanted to personally think Rommel will because he went out of his way to help us break down some boxes and took as many as he could. We ended up ordering a second leg because we ran out of room in his truck. He was kind professional and on time and helped us with organizing a second truck. - Lisa
Brent and John showed show up promptly at the requested start time. They then went above and beyond what was expected helping me navigate my truck thru a difficult obstacle course. They then quickly worked as a team to unload the truck. Fantastic work, thank you Brent and John! - Jim
Corey was timely with the delivery, and quickly and expertly backed his truck into the drive to help facilitate unloading. Also notable and commendable was that Corey considerately donned a mask once seeing my wife and I wearing ours when he arrived. Overall, we were very pleased with Corey's Lugging assistance! Thank you! - Brandon
Matt and Colton showed up on time and configured my mattresses into their truck. They were very organized and courteous with my furniture. Thank you both for everything - Victoria
Eduardo and Matias communicated excellently upon when they would arrive to the site, and they arrived in a timely manner. They were both professional and kind in how they spoke to us. It was a very nice, all white sofa that needed loading into their truck; they both did it with care and caution. Upon arriving at the sofa's destination, Eduardo and Matias carried the sofa up a long flight of stairs and placed it carefully inside the home. We had a wonderful experience with Eduardo and Matias and would definitely request their services in the future and recommend them and Lugg. Please know, this was a first experience using Lugg, Lugg was recommend to us from a friend -- we told her it was an excellent recommendation and experience. Thank you very much, Eduardo and Matias -- YOU'RE THE ABSOLUTE BEST! - Lisa
On time, had everything appropriately strapped down on the truck, super nice and careful with our packages and communication was on point - Isaac
Sharif and Omar were extremely efficient and professional. We both had issues with the app though . . . I originally scheduled for 1 worker and a truck, and in came a 2 man group with an extra large van . . . They were able to take all the requested items safely in one trip, and I only had to pay what I planned to pay. Sharif was concerned that he wouldn't get compensated for the XL van that he drove. I hope that Lugg would compensate him for the XL van rate if the upgrade was performed at the company's discretion. They are an asset to Lugg and they don't deserve to be shortchanged. - Erich
Was on time, friendly and professional. Items were well locked down in the back of his truck and cleanly delivered! - Julian
Left item in truck. No way to teach them. Need them to return with item. Lamp stand. Please call me directly to arrange. Tami 619-990-4997 - Tami
I am a happy first time customer. James and Nick were on time, very professional and had my bookcase wrapped up extremely well for transport. They took care in installing the bookcase and even adjusted the glass shelving system for me. The truck was clean and they were dressed professionally. Highly recommend this service. - Michelle
Jim & Jose were so professional, they responded to me within minutes and arrived at Home Goods in 20 minutes to deliver my sofa to my new apartment. They arrived in a clean, brand new truck with my white sofa neatly rapped. They were friendly & respectful. When they couldn’t fit the very large sofa through my second floor doorway, they offered a solution. So I called from my my cell to the Lugg App for 2 movers to assist for a reasonable price, they joIned us wIthIn 20 minutes and the 4 men proceeded to hoist the sofa up the side of the apartment and over the balcony. I was extremely satisfied with the Lugg service and will definitely use them again. ~Gina - Gina
First time using your service. Salesperson at West Elm recommendation. Way better than asking a friend with a truck. Great service! - michael
Tim and Josiah were prompt, polite and professional! This was our first experience with Lugg and while we used to rely on friends with trucks to move larger items, it’s great to have a service that is reasonably priced with excellent communication like Lugg. Thanks so much Tim and Josiah—you rock! -Kurt and Rachel - Kurt
It’s my fourth time using Lugg now in both San Francisco and San Diego. I’ve been lucky to get James to help me three times now. He’s excellent and Haakon was wonderful too. They make everything so easy during a move, they’re strong, make good use of time, and are personable and trustworthy with my belongings. Very nice guys, a real pleasure to have around. Great truck too! Tons of things fit in there. Thank you!!! - Rachel
James and Devon were excellent. Nice guys and knew how to pack a truck! They made two trips and it was a great experience. Will recommend to all friends in San diego. Jon - Jon
Jeremy and Henry were very fast and had great teamwork. I had two storage units in a house with things going to various places and they were really good about listening and knowing what goes where. in addition, when we got to the house I had to move some furniture around and they didn’t hesitate to help me. I would absolutely hire them again. - Stuart
Luis and John quickly assessed the situation and figured out the best way fit my couch into a narrow storage unit.Good job! - Susan
Hi Lugg Team- shout-out to John and Brad! The furniture store did not disassemble the dining table we ordered (even though we requested them to do so) so this move was tough as the table was super heavy. John and Brad still powered through and helped us maneuver the table into our storage unit. Cheers Ps. (We gave them a cash tip when they left, so i will leave that field blank here in the app) - Kristina

Moving out of a studio, clearing a storage unit, or taking a few pieces of furniture across town, and you need people and a truck at the same time? Lugg is an on-demand moving and delivery service where one Lugg covers both: movers with a truck who load, drive and unload your things, so there's no truck to rent, and no friends to round up. Movers are on the way within the hour, or you pick a one-hour window that suits you, up to 60 days out. You'll see an upfront estimate before you book, with no hourly minimums. Already have a truck? Lugg's labor-only movers handle just the loading and unloading.
Here's how to choose the right fit. When in doubt, size up.
Lugg movers bring dollies, furniture blankets, stretch wrap, lifting straps and tie-down straps. They carry everything out, up or down the stairs, wrap and strap it in the truck, and set it down in the rooms you choose at the other end.
A larger home sometimes takes two Luggs, and that's normal. Lugg's weight limit is 125 lbs per Lugger, or 250 lbs per item on any vehicle that comes with two Luggers: Pickup, Van, XL, Box or Box+. Anything heavier needs more Luggers on the job, so book a second Lugg for the same time window.
Have boxes packed and sealed before your movers arrive. One Lugg holds up to 5 stops, so a storage unit, an old apartment and a new one can all go on the same booking, and a move can run up to 150 miles. You can track your movers live from pickup to drop-off.
