Andrew and Christian were a pleasure to work with. They worked hard. We did have a few problems though. In moving the buffet they were unable to stand the unit up due to the height of the ceiling. The unit was the same size as our existing buffet do I knew it would fit. They tried different scenarios without success. I suggested that they remove the base, which they did but it still didn’t give it enough clearance. I then suggested they remove the second largest section of the cabinet which we worked. But, in putting the buffet back together they incorrectly matched the holes and woodwork. When they finished we looked at the unit and we noticed that the base was off about 1/4” all around and that there were 4 nails sticking up through the wood. I knew that it was getting very expensive having them here so we asked them to take the top unit off and leave it on the floor so we can correct the way the base was put on. Only one small piece of the wood was split and I’m hoping that it won’t be noticed. I suggest that there should be basic training on how big items are put together so they will know what needs to be done in the future. I can take pictures if you need them. It was an Ethan Allen piece which is highly crafted and maybe extra knowledge about manufacturers. When handling these type of items I expect customers to have high expectations on the moves.

This was my first time using Lugg and it was an extremely pleasant experience. The movers were polite, reassuring that they could get the furniture around the sharp hallway corners, and extremely efficient. They wore their masks and offered to remove their shoes.
