With an average 4.9-star rating across nearly 1 million verified customer reviews, Lugg is the trusted choice for on-demand Wayfair deliveries in Jersey City, NJ.
Completely wowed by the Lugg service . Had two large chairs ( 40x40 boxes ) to be picked from west elm . Shipping was $279 but Lugg did it for $55 !! And right on time , excellent service!! The Lugg employee has wheels too so don’t have to lift the box except for stairs . Overall , cannot wait to use the service again !! - SHWETA
They did this on a 20-degree day. They weren't fazed by a miscount of boxes and a misrepresentation of the size of the boxes. They parked the van despite abandoned construction on the curb. They carried the boxes down two flights of tightly spiraled stairs. - Mary
Martino and Tyrone went above and beyond to take my boxes to the post office. They moved the boxes efficiently and drove efficiently. They were flexible enough to accommodate a change of delivery point. They were courteous throughout the entire process. - Christopher
Mike and Sadiki were amazing! When the mattress couldn’t fit in the small stairway and they patiently took it out of the box and managed to haul it into my apt! Then Mike helped me discard my old mattress which I’m super grateful for! Thank you!! - Suzanne
They were both very pleasant and despite some difficulties the the size of the box spring They managed extremely well and kept me informed continually. Pleasant and helpful duo - Paqui
The team was punctual, I was updated several times by text about the status of the delivery, and the gentleman who brought up the box made sure to not hit any of the exit signs hanging from the ceiling. - Brian
Kevin and Jaqwan were great! Helped me unpack the box and set up the piece of furniture. A real pleasure! - Diane
So great - they operate independently and solve problems critically - with a sense of urgency - communicated when they left and a few minutes before arrival - then parked across the intersection and wheel carted the delivery to the stoop sidewalk: I met them ahead and escorted them - I opened up the front door and the second - one held open the first and one handed over the three boxes up the stoop stairs through the vestibule and we let them rest inside the corridor. Then one carried an entire yellow bag with the bags as one. Then they brought in their wheel cart. Then one asked which floor. I responded. Then one carried all the bags in the one yellow bag up three flights. I carried one or two boxes and another carried the last box. They removed the four bags from their yellow bag and set them along the wall near the hallway. We set the boxes on the wall next to my door. One took a final picture while the other waited downstairs. I tipped cash. Then they left, I heard the door entry close from upstairs. I moved the items from the stairway into my room. - Javier F
Garfield and Annur were incredibly professional and punctual for the move. They took all the boxes and paper to the recycling center near me and handled everything seamlessly. Absolutely recommend both of them! - Nina
They were extremely nice and helpful with the moving process. Helped carry all of the boxes to my apartment. Thank you! - Megan
Kevin was wonderful - so efficient, professional, and handled my things with care. He was able to get the boxes from the van all the way into my apartment. Olanrewaju was helpful with getting the boxes from the van to the elevator! - Melania
Quick and easy. They were in and out, had an issue of where to put the boxes, they were found solution. Great work. - Khalina
Saynee was so helpful and efficient! Cordelli stacked all the boxes and made sure they were all secured too. Thank you! - Tracy
They were punctual, made sure to carefully deliver the couch and even opened the boxes for me. They were very quick and efficient. - Rosalind
He called me when he was on his way and when he was arriving. He was very polite and put the boxes where I asked him to. Very courteous. - Kimberly
Javed and Jerrell are very professional and arrived on time, as scheduled. They moved the boxes quickly and carefully. They stacked the boxes neatly and helped with ensuring all the boxes were there. I had 20 IKEA items. 10/10 - great job guys. - Albert
Both guys were very careful with bringing the boxes inside the house. Our main door is tight. But they did their best to bring boxes without hitting anything. willl definitely will recommend. - Irene
They were able to move all the boxes, light and heavy, with such ease. You cna tell they've done this for a long time because they knew how to position the boxes when they came up our stairs. We have a small tight entrance before coming into the living room. They knew exactly what to do. They were also very polite and sweet gentleman. I would pay and hire them again if/when the need ever arises. 10/10 - Francisco
Frank and Andray were exceptional. They brought all the boxes up four flights of stairs with the utmost efficiency, professionalism and courtesy. Thank you! - Elizabeth
Were here ahead if schedule. Were careful bringing the box in, and placing it where we showed them. Readily put on masks when requested. Both pleasant to interact with. - Helen
They treated me with a lot of respect, they waited for me to go downstairs, and helped me bring up the boxes. I wish every delivery person was like them. Great service. - Yahaira
They were very sweet and kind people. The guy helped build my furniture and took the garbage of the boxes down. The store warehouse did not deliver 4/5 items to my delivery people and I’m missing a few items. This was not the sluggers fault but more of the fault of the store for not giving them the pieces. Mayra told me she going to be on the lookout to deliver my pieces for tomorrow they were nice people and they deserve a boost in raise !!! - Jesse
Super nice and courteous. They brought the boxes up to my apartment and inside the front door, which was more than I expected. - Laura
Didn't think the item would fit but they took extra time to unpack the boxes and got everything in through my tiny door - Matthew

Wayfair arranges delivery for orders placed on its website, and Lugg isn't one of its carriers. Lugg covers the two Wayfair jobs that fall outside that: getting a purchase home from a Wayfair Outlet or store the same day, and getting a delivered order the rest of the way inside. Lugg is an on-demand moving and delivery platform that covers both, with Lugg movers who carry your Wayfair furniture to the room you choose, often within the hour.
Wayfair Outlets sell discounted furniture that you'll often want home the same day, and a sofa or a dresser rarely fits in the car. Ask the outlet about its own delivery options when you buy. If you want it home the same day, pay at the register, then book a Lugg from the outlet. Lugg movers pick up from Wayfair Outlets in Naperville, IL, Chandler, AZ, San Marcos, TX, Attleboro, MA, and Hanover, MD, and from the Wayfair stores in Wilmette, IL, and Atlanta, GA. Want it put together too? Add Assembly when you book.
Wayfair furniture often arrives as heavy flat-pack boxes, and a delivery can end at the lobby, the garage or the curb instead of your room. When the boxes and the room are at the same address, book Movers only: tap Movers only under your first address, then on the Crew screen pick 1 Lugger, or pick 2 Luggers for anything over 125 lbs. Lugg movers carry the boxes up the stairs to the room you choose, and you don't book or pay for a truck. If the boxes went to a FedEx or UPS location, or to a neighbor's place down the street, book a standard Lugg with that address as your pickup.
On a Movers only or standard Lugg, Lugg movers can unbox your Wayfair furniture and put it together where it's going to stay, from a bed frame and a dresser to a desk or a patio set. Assembly is part of the labor time on your Lugg, so leave the instructions and hardware with the boxes. Lugg movers don't mount anything to a wall or connect electrical, plumbing or appliances.
Choose a vehicle at least as long as your longest box. A pickup truck, booked as a Lite or a Pickup, has a bed at least 6 feet long and carries a tarp. A Van (at least 8 feet) is enclosed, which keeps cardboard boxes dry on a rainy day. An XL (at least 10 feet) or a Box truck, 12 to 16 feet, takes a sectional and a dining set in one trip. Check the box weights on your order before you book: Lugg's weight limit is 125 lbs per Lugger, or 250 lbs per item on any vehicle that comes with two Luggers: Pickup, Van, XL, Box or Box+.
Lugg is an independent moving and delivery platform and isn't part of Wayfair or affiliated with it.
It's simple! Here's the process:
That's what we specialize in! You can book a Lugg right from the Wayfair store or parking lot in Jersey City. Your movers can often arrive for pickup within the hour, getting your new Wayfair furniture home faster than traditional delivery.
If you prefer to schedule ahead, you can book your Lugg for the hour of your choice up to 60 days in advance.
Yes, Lugg can pick up your new furniture and then haul away the old one to a recycling facility or donate it to a local charity, including donation centers like Goodwill or Habitat ReStore near Jersey City. Just add an extra stop when booking your delivery. If you're buying from a partner store, that extra stop means your Lugg is priced as a standard Lugg, with labor billed by the minute at every stop.
Tip: Donation and disposal centers vary widely in what they accept, so we recommend calling ahead to confirm they can take your furniture, along with their hours and any potential fees.
Yes, Lugg supports up to 5 pickups or drop-offs per Lugg, so you can coordinate multi-store pickups in one easy delivery. Just add each store as a stop when booking.
No, Lugg crews cannot complete payment at the store. Please ensure your Wayfair purchase is fully paid for and ready for pickup before booking.
Lugg prices every booking as a base fare for the vehicle you pick, a per-mile rate for the distance between your stops, and labor billed by the minute with no hourly minimum. You'll see your upfront estimate before you book, including a small variable booking fee, and rates vary by city.
The vehicle you pick sets most of the price, so a single piece of furniture in a Lite or Pickup costs much less than a full apartment in a Box. Routes over 30 miles add a long-distance fee, which is already in your estimate, and a Movers only job has no mileage at all.
No, you don't! As long as you upload a clear photo of your receipt or order confirmation from the Wayfair store in Jersey City, your Luggers can handle the pickup for you. Some Wayfair locations may require additional verification, and we will contact you if that's the case.
Yes, upload your digital receipt or provide your Wayfair order confirmation number when booking so your movers can easily locate your Wayfair furniture at the Jersey City store.
For stores inside our partner network receiving flat rate delivery, we will wait up to 15 minutes for your order at no additional cost. For wait times over 15 minutes, you may need to re-schedule.
For stores outside of our partner network, wait time is billable at your normal labor rate. To avoid charges, confirm with Wayfair in Jersey City that your order is ready for pickup before booking.
You are responsible for measuring your doorways, hallways, and stairwells to ensure your furniture will fit before booking. Your furniture cannot be delivered because it doesn't fit, it can be placed in an alternate location at your destination or be returned to the Wayfair store of purchase. If you prefer the item is returned to the store, you will be charged for the initial delivery attempt and for the additional return trip.
Please inspect your furniture upon delivery. If you find damage upon receiving your furniture, or discover defects from the store, note it immediately with your crew and contact the Wayfair store for assistance.
If damage to your furniture occurred during transport, please contact us to file a damage claim. We will ask you to hold your furniture as we work to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
Every Lugg Wayfair delivery in Jersey City includes professional moving equipment, straps, dollies, moving blankets, and stretch wrap to protect your items and your space, plus a basic toolkit for light disassembly or reassembly. Pickup trucks also come equipped with a tarp for weather protection.
Your Luggers will wrap fragile or bulky pieces for safe transport, take care to avoid damage to floors, walls, and elevators, and move heavy furniture, appliances, and other large items safely through tight spaces, stairs, and doorways. This helps ensure a smooth, efficient Wayfair delivery from start to finish.
