Mario and Murilo are quite possibly two of the best Luggers to exist. We had the most seamless and efficient move of a Facebook marketplace couch, to a degree that I did not know was possible. Mario and Murilo beat us to our pickup location and had already started to move the couch within the 2 minutes it took for us to arrive. The entire process took under 40 minutes, including the 20 minute drive between the two locations. They braved our 50 steep stairs with an excellent attitude and strategy. Buying secondhand is easy until the pickup. Whether the listing offers local delivery or says pickup only, the item still has to get from a stranger's garage to your living room. Enter the seller's address and yours, choose the truck that fits the item, and see the estimate before you confirm. Lugg is an on-demand delivery service that collects Facebook Marketplace purchases from the seller and carries them inside, for items too big to fit in a car.
Plenty of listings say pickup only, and most private sellers won't carry a sleeper sofa down a flight of stairs with you. Movers do the loading at both ends, so the sale doesn't depend on the seller's help, a borrowed pickup, or a friend with a free Saturday. If the piece has to come apart to get out of the seller's place, the crew can handle basic disassembly and put it back together at yours.
