Does HomeGoods deliver furniture in Fairfax?
Whether HomeGoods delivers depends on the store, so it's worth asking at yours. When the piece won't fit in your car, that's the gap Lugg fills. Book a Lugg before you leave the register, and Lugg movers pick up your purchase and carry it inside to the room you choose, often within the hour. You pay HomeGoods for what you buy, and Lugg's upfront estimate covers the delivery. Lugg is an on-demand moving and delivery service that has completed more than 4,000 HomeGoods pickups in the past year, from more than 300 HomeGoods stores.
When the find won't fit in the car
HomeGoods stock changes all the time, so the piece you love today may not be on the floor next week, and leaving it behind to come back with a truck is a gamble. Chairs are the most common HomeGoods Lugg, from accent chairs to recliners, followed by sofas, tables, mirrors and rugs. Console tables, cabinets, sideboards, bookcases and patio sets come home the same way.
Which Lugg fits your HomeGoods haul in Fairfax
Choose a vehicle at least as long as your longest piece. Most HomeGoods runs fit in a pickup truck, booked as a Lite or a Pickup, and its bed is at least 6 feet long and carries a tarp. A Van (at least 8 feet) or an XL (at least 10 feet) is enclosed, which keeps a velvet sofa or a framed mirror dry on a rainy day. A Box truck, 12 to 16 feet, takes a whole room of furniture in one trip.
Mirrors, glass and marble tops
Lugg movers wrap and strap each piece before it goes on the truck, and the pieces that need it most at HomeGoods are the ones that look sturdy and aren't: an oversized HomeGoods mirror, glass-topped tables and stone-topped consoles. If a piece is heavy, check its weight before you book. Lugg's weight limit is 125 lbs per Lugger, or 250 lbs per item on any vehicle that comes with two Luggers: Pickup, Van, XL, Box or Box+. Anything heavier needs more Luggers on the job, so book a second Lugg for the same time window.
Inside, upstairs, and into the right room
Lugg movers carry your HomeGoods order to the room of your choice, whether that's a walk-up apartment, a bedroom upstairs or the back patio. Measure the doorway and the turn at the top of the stairs before you buy a HomeGoods couch or an armoire, because a piece that fits the room still has to get through the door first.
