An awesome experience for my college daughter who needed to move all her things out quickly from a cramped second floor school ace to a storage unit. Joseph and Nicholas did everything for her… she said they were professional, courteous and went above and beyond! We will be asking for them by name when she moves into her new place this fall! Thank you!! - Esther
Mike and Daniel were excellent movers. They made moving into my storage unit so effortless and simple, while also working extremely hard moving my couch, mattress, and heavy table. They even helped me wrap my couch and headboard, to prevent dust, which was above and beyond. Would give 10 stars/5 stars, if possible! - Joseph
Outstanding couple of movers. I'd hire again if I ever need to move anything. Thank you Serafin and Jesus. - Lori
When most movers probably would have thrown in the towel, these guys persevered and got the job done! Their task was to pick up a very bulky couch from my parents’ house and deliver it to my son’s apartment. And when I say the passageway into his apartment was narrow… I mean NARROW! 😂 They never gave up. They carefully disassembled the couch, somehow maneuvered it through the tight space, and then reassembled it once they got it inside. They had excellent communication throughout the entire process and kept us informed every step of the way. They were hardworking, determined, careful, and incredibly professional. It was clear that they genuinely wanted to do the job right. 5-star service all around! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I would absolutely recommend these guys to anyone looking for movers. They earned every one of those stars! - Zaina
Angel and Julian are the best! They were able to make it here quickly and get to work right away. They were extremely professional and do an amazing job. They were so exceptionally great at doing a very tricky job with ease and experience. I will use your services often, as long as I can get Angel and Julian to come back out to help... they are the very best! They are very friendly and personable gentlemen and were so incredibly kind to me! I am handicapped due to having M.S. and am in constant pain & suffer from painful joint dysplasia. The guys noticed that I was in pain and were so kind to be, making sure to check in to see if I was alright! I really appreciate everything they did for me today and will be sure to use your services again and again! I feel so lucky to have them available today and can not express how much I appreciate their help, time, expertise and hard work and am blown away by their intense work ethic and professionalism! They go far above and beyond and are absolutely terrific! I can wait to refer them and your services to several of people in the near future! I own several apartment buildings and am often asked for referrals for great movers. I am glad to have great trust in you, now that I am aware of the type of people that you hire and am more than happy to refer your services to my Tenants and other customers that trust me for referrals to the best in goods and services! I can't say enough about Angel and Julian, they were absolutely the very best! Thank you kindly, Leanore R. Goetz - Leanore
Both movers were great. Efficient. Helpful. Daniel and Damian are great examples of quality work! - Larry
The BEST movers! I’ve had many movers— but Nikos and Tomas were truly best. Extremely kind, fast, and efficient. Made my day and the move possible. - Brianna
Willie & John were excellent. They worked efficiently, effectively, and made the entire move feel smooth and stress-free. The whole process was quick and simple from start to finish. They came in with a clear game plan and executed it flawlessly. Not only are these guys the real deal, but they were also incredibly respectful, professional, and easy to work with throughout the job. I would absolutely recommend Willie & John to anyone looking for movers and would gladly use them again for future jobs. Outstanding service all around! - Theo
I had an outstanding experience with this moving company. From the initial scheduling process to the final delivery, the team was professional, punctual, and extremely careful with my belongings. The movers arrived on time, worked efficiently, and handled everything with great attention to detail. They took extra care to protect furniture, walls, and fragile items, making what could have been a stressful move completely smooth and worry-free. What impressed me most was their positive attitude and willingness to go above and beyond to ensure everything was placed exactly where I wanted it. The entire crew was courteous, hardworking, and respectful throughout the move. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for reliable, professional movers. Excellent service, great communication, and exceptional care from start to finish. Thank you for making my furniture move such a positive experience! - Joyce
Excellent service from both movers today! They arrived on time, handled my TV with care, and made sure everything was properly set up before leaving. Super professional, efficient, and friendly. You can tell they really care about doing a good job. Thank you both again! - Maria

Roderick and Nico were the best movers EVER. On time, professional, kind, helpful and did an excellent job. Could not imagine a better experience. Thank you! - Meghan
These movers were awesome! They navigated the picky up and drop off perfectly and so smoothly. They wrapped the item and took care of it as well. - Gina
The movers were prompt, on time, professional and stayed in contact throughout the whole process very well even though there was a snowstorm (which I regret booking them during) but they were courteous, professional and all in all very good. Worked very well as a team which is very important as movers me being a mover in the past and all I respect what they do and would call on these two again anytime - Scott
These guys were pro. I had a little hang-up with the Crate & Barrel warehouse people and your crew informed me immediately. I asked if they could wait until I got there to straighten it out since I live only 10 minutes away. Your crew was cool with that and once I arrived, C&B released my table for your crew. I’ve been in situations where I had been left high & dry by movers so I really appreciate them giving me a heads-up and a little extra time to resolve the C&B hold up. - William
Both Elton and John were excellent helpers and movers today — for a large awkward piece they went the extra mile to make sure our chair was picked up and delivered safely. Slow prompt and courteous / 10 stars !! - B
They were so sweet and friendly and efficient. I am so glad they were my movers! It was such an easy transition. - Amanda
Miguel and Jhofran are excellent movers. They are kind, very efficient, and set up my couch for me the way I wanted it. Pickup and delivery couldn’t have gone any better. They were excellent!!!! - Crystal

Fantastic movers! Extremely careful with my items, insightful with the best ways to load/unload efficiently, and very nice to work with. Would highly recommend them to anyone. - Stefan
On time. Good communication with me. Patient and strong! Aaron and Jose are very professional movers. They kept their agreement and delivered on the coldest day of the year! I highly recommend. - Adrainne

Lugg can move almost anything that fits safely in your chosen truck, furniture, boxes, appliances, décor, business inventory, gym equipment, and more. Whether you're moving into, out of, or between Storage Post storage units in Chicago, Lugg movers handle the heavy lifting so you don't have to.
No, Lugg does not operate storage facilities. We specialize in moving and delivery and can take your items to or from your Storage Post unit in Chicago, including transfers between different facilities.
Yes, your Luggers can carefully arrange your boxes and furniture to optimize space usage, provided the items can be safely stacked and the facility permits it.
Yes, book Movers only with Lugg: enter your Storage Post facility address in Chicago, tap Movers only, then pick your crew size. Your Luggers handle the rest, and there's no truck to book.
Yes, Lugg can transport your items from one storage location to another, even across cities, as long as both addresses are within our service area in the Greater Chicago area.
While we cannot recommend specific sizes, your movers can give you feedback on-site if your chosen unit seems too small or too large for your belongings.
Pick the truck that fits what you're moving. Almost every option is a two-Lugger booking, so crew size isn't usually the decision — the Lugg Lite is the exception.
Tip: Pickup trucks carry a tarp for light rain, but book an enclosed truck — Van, XL, Box or Box+ — if heavier rain is forecast. When in doubt, size up.
Not all box trucks have a lift gate. If your Storage Post move needs one, say so in the 'What are you moving?' field when booking and Lugg will do its best to accommodate.
Yes, you can book more than one truck and crew for big storage cleanouts or multiple-unit moves. Just book another Lugg for the same time window, and we'll coordinate the additional crew and truck in Chicago.
Lugg prices every booking as a base fare for the vehicle you pick, a per-mile rate for the distance between your stops, and labor billed by the minute with no hourly minimum. You'll see your upfront estimate before you book, including a small variable booking fee, and rates vary by city.
The vehicle you pick sets most of the price, so a single piece of furniture in a Lite or Pickup costs much less than a full apartment in a Box. Routes over 30 miles add a long-distance fee, which is already in your estimate, and a Movers only job has no mileage at all.
Yes, wait time and any additional stops are billable. To avoid extra charges, please ensure your Storage Post facility access is arranged and your unit is available before your crew arrives.
We recommend being present to provide gate codes, confirm your Storage Post unit location, and direct the crew. If you can't be there, make sure your storage facility allows third-party access and that you've shared any required codes or authorizations before move day.
Yes, you can schedule your Lugg within your Chicago Storage Post facility's access hours, and we'll take care of the rest. It's always a good idea to double-check their hours before booking.
If you're on-site, you can guide the crew through access points. If not, include your Storage Post units gate code, key card, or instructions in the booking notes, and your Lugg crew will use those details to access your unit following the facility's rules.
Yes, you'll need to pack before your crew arrives, because Lugg does not provide packing services or supplies. Please box or bag any small, loose, or fragile items, including kitchenware, electronics accessories, office supplies, dorm essentials, and any items that could shift during transport.
Your Luggers will bring moving supplies and equipment to protect furniture and larger pieces, but having your items packed ahead of time helps keep your move quick, organized, and damage-free.
No problem, your Lugg crew can assist with any basic disassembly or assembly needed. If an item cannot be made to fit, you may need to rent a larger Storage Post unit or have the item returned to your pickup location.
Every Lugg Storage Post move in Chicago includes professional moving equipment, straps, dollies, moving blankets, and stretch wrap to protect your items and your space, plus a basic toolkit for light disassembly or reassembly. Pickup trucks also come equipped with a tarp for weather protection. Your Luggers will wrap fragile or bulky pieces for safe transport, take care to avoid damage to floors, walls, and elevators, and know how to get heavy furniture, appliances, and other large items through tight spaces, stairs, and doorways. This helps ensure a smooth, efficient Storage Post move from start to finish. We do not provide moving boxes or mattress covers. Please have these items ready if needed.
We always recommend inspecting your items upon arrival in your new space. In the rare event that damage occurs to your item(s) or your property in Chicago, our Support Team will promptly review the issue, coordinate any necessary repairs or replacements, and work with you to make things right.
To file a damage claim, get in touch through our contact page or use live chat. We'll guide you through the next steps and may ask you to hold the item while we review and resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
