When it appeared after numerous tries that one cabinet was too large so that it would not clear the ceiling and walls in the stairwell, they continued to brainstorm on how to get the job done instead of simply giving in to what seemed like an undoable task. They realized from examining the cabinet that it could be divided into two pieces, and they patiently separated the sides and reattached them together upon getting each side up the stairs.
