Thank you both for making our move as stress free and efficient as possible. Piano moves work the same as any other Lugg booking. Pick a vehicle, choose your Luggers, see upfront pricing before you confirm — with one important caveat unique to pianos: weight.
Lugg's per-Lugger weight limit is 100 lbs per person. That makes a typical upright piano a 3- to 4-Lugger job, not a 2-Lugger job. Rough math by piano type:
If you only book the default 2 Luggers for a piano, the move won't be safe. Please either book additional Luggers or have extra help on site.
Lugg does not move grand pianos. For a grand, use a piano specialist. Baby grand pianos can be moved within the same property — room to room, or briefly lifted so a rug can be placed underneath. The baby grand needs to fit safely through every doorway and turn, and you'll still need to book enough Luggers for the weight.
