I was so relieved when I was able to get my new aquarium to my house because PetSmart wouldn’t ship it because it was a special item. I just happened to run across Lugg on Google so I filled out what I needed to online for a pick up to haul, which is very convenient, chose a time & day I needed them & I was done! Very reasonable prices, very professional, I would recommend Lugg to anyone that needed help with moving. Thanks again guys - Sue

Steven & Steven were the best! They were on time and ready to help me move into my new place. They did a great job getting all my things from a Uhaul into my building, up an elevator, down a long hall and into my home. They even brought the dual purpose dolly I’d requested. Many, many back and forths all done well. Taking extra care with a few things I was nervous about. It was that thoughtful, friendly, professional attitude that has me giving them 5 stars :) - Karin

Derec and Aaron were super friendly and professional. They not only delivered the furniture right on time but also went above and beyond by assembling it, moving it to the exact spot in the living room to our satisfaction, plugging it in and testing to make sure it works, and hauling away the boxes and foams. Definitely will use Lugg again and highly recommend them! ps. I tipped them with cash, not realizing that the Lugg app has the option to tip. - Qinbin

I used Lugg for the first time to have old furniture and large boxes removed from my office. Because I was unaware of how the company worked, I set up the drop off location to someone's residence instead of a dump site like I planned on. Jesus and Darnell were very sweet in helping me work through my mistake. We found a dump site and they were able to make it there in time before the dump closed to finish the project. I will definitely be using Lugg again for any hauling we need done. Thanks again you guys - I really appreciated you help and calm demeanor while we worked together to correct my mistake. - Ty

We ordered two couches from Macy’s but it was the reclining type and the weight of the sofa made it very hard to handle. On top of that the couch did not fit our front door. But through the whole ordeal these guys were very patient and tried various ways and finally even remove the legs of the couch to get it in the house for us. I would recommend their very professional service if you are moving furniture. - Daniel

Abdul provided excellent service from pre-pick up ETA’s to on time delivery. Very professional and polite. He carried the two new patio chairs into my side yard, removed packing and took the debris with him. All I had to do was sit down and enjoy the scenery. I highly recommend Lugg. Worth every penny, considering the time saved and not having to lug the bulky chairs over a small pathway. - Joyce

I warned them about need to remove the doors before they attempted to move the treadmill from bedroom through apartment and outside…LOL…they learned their lesson and were very quick to laugh and say they should have listened to me. Move was quick! Less than an hour from arrival and to delivery/unloading. Will certainly use this device again! - Crystal

This was my first time using Lugg and it was an extremely pleasant experience. Christmas tree delivery in Sacramento
A real Christmas tree is a bad fit for a car in every way at once: it's long, it's heavier than it looks, the branches spring back out the moment the netting comes off, and it leaves sap and needles on whatever it rides on. So in practice the tree decides the vehicle. You pick the tree at the lot, the farm, the nursery or the hardware store, pick the truck it lies flat in, and a crew meets you there to load it and carry it inside. A Christmas tree delivery service is really just that: a truck, a crew, and the hour you'd otherwise spend tying a fir to a roof rack. Lugg is an on-demand moving and delivery service that carries Christmas trees in Sacramento, real or artificial, for people who have found the tree they want and no way to get it home.
Real Christmas tree delivery: getting it home in one piece
A fresh-cut tree travels lying down, so measure the load space, not the tree. A Lugg pickup bed is at least 6 feet inside wall to wall, a van is at least 8 feet long, an XL van at least 10, and a box truck 12 to 16. A boxed artificial tree is easier to handle, though a pre-lit nine-footer in its carton is bulkier and heavier than most people expect. The crew brings furniture blankets, stretch wrap and tie-down straps, and a pickup also carries a tarp, which is what keeps sap and needles out of a car you'd otherwise be vacuuming until spring. Have the stand out and ready before the crew arrives, and they can carry the tree to the room you name and set it into the stand once it's there. One Lugg can make up to five stops, so the tree, the stand and a detour to the storage unit for the ornaments are one trip rather than three.
Christmas tree removal and pickup in January
Christmas tree disposal is the harder trip: the tree is dry by then, the netting is long gone, and it drops needles on every surface between the living room and the door. Lugg moves it out the same way it came in, with one difference that matters: you choose and provide the destination, whether that's a recycling drop-off, a mulching site or a disposal site. Lugg carries the tree there and nothing more, so finding the site and checking its hours are on you. Many towns also run a free Christmas tree pickup at the curb for a week or two in January, which is worth checking first. Where that falls down is an apartment, because a dry tree coming down four flights and across town isn't the trip a curbside program covers.
