Super good service. Really nice. Recommended other services that Lugg offer. Will be using you for dump runs - Madison

Please do not charge me for the full service since now i have to reschedule for the sofa to go to the dump instead. - Jean

I used Lugg for the first time to have old furniture and large boxes removed from my office. Because I was unaware of how the company worked, I set up the drop off location to someone's residence instead of a dump site like I planned on. Jesus and Darnell were very sweet in helping me work through my mistake. We found a dump site and they were able to make it there in time before the dump closed to finish the project. I will definitely be using Lugg again for any hauling we need done. Thanks again you guys - I really appreciated you help and calm demeanor while we worked together to correct my mistake. - Ty

Super nice guys, they disassembled items and took them to the dump. Will definitely be using them again soon! - Lindsey

Great with communication, took time to place the furniture and take away the trash. Thanks for the great service! - Lauren

Positive attitude and communicated well. Did not know if they were supposed to deliver and unwrap/take away trash or not - am guessing not. But not a problem at all. Willing to help me move two existing chairs to different rooms to make space for new chair. So I tipped them in cash and separate from the Lugg app. - Mark

They checked the route of the furniture in the house and made sure every thing was protected. They cleaned up the trash of the plastic wrap and were fast. - noreen

Rickie and Jeremiah picked up my things I want to donate and arrived at destination very quickly! Yay! I am glad to be helped by Rickie and Jeremiah! - Alisha

Helped me unbox and set up. Took packing materials outside and cut down for recycle. Helped me a lot!! - Debra

Mario and Ignatius were friendly and professional. They moved a VERY heavy sleeper sofa up a flight of stairs into my new apartment, and quickly! I’m so thankful for their help. It was seamless and easy. - Ruth

Kudos to Aram and Dimitri for their ingenuity and muscle power delivering my Sofa Sleeper. Also, they were very timely and efficient! - David

very friendly. protected my floors well. asked whether I needed more protection under the legs of the furniture and helped me move some furniture out of the way. great service. Put the electric recliner components together. - Elizabeth

Great team! Arrived on time and got us all set up including troubleshooting the recliner electronics before they left. Couldn’t recommend them any more highly! - John

They were great, really helped out for last minute need to move a recliner. I would use your service again! - Mary

These guys are awesome! They arrived promptly and were excellent at moving other things around to fit the loveseat in the space I wanted. Definitely will use Lugg again based on this assignment! - Naomi

They went the extra mile to get our sofa and loveseat in the house! They were respectful and very careful with our furniture. - Nancy

Rodrigo and Joey were excellent. Also moved 2 pieces of furniture into my garage. I like that they were flexible enough to do that for me. They moved my sofa upstairs and it seemed effortless to them even though I knew the loveseat was heavy. I will definitely use Lugg again. Lugg was recommended from a friend and I'm so glad they're in my area. - Deborah

He came to my place ahead on time and was very professional when helping me bring my loveseat into my home! Thank you again Matthew! - Dru

Figuring out how to get a 300 pound loveseat upstairs with two landings and turning 90 degrees twice. Job well done. - Janice

We need to move our Sofa and loveseat purchased at COSTCO. The COSTCO manager suggested us to use LUGG service. On Sunday, we paid at COSTCO at 11 am and left for home waiting. At 5 PM, the movers worked efficiently to deliver the furniture from 30 miles away. Thank them for their hard work. I will definitely use their service again. - ShyhJen

They was on time, unpacked sofa and loveseat and set up and tested Moved old sofa out of way Would use them again without question would rate the service a 10++ - Paul

Super friendly and delivered my futon mattress in excellent shape. Brought it to the guest room just as I asked, provided great customer service. Thanks! - Michele

Super fast arrival and safe delivery. Was able to fit an 8 piece sectional sofa set and expert organizers to make sure all the pieces fit (Tetris). Thank you !!! - Michael

Exceeded expectations. Anthony and Stephen know what they are doing. We ordered a sectional sofa from Macy’s turned out to be a two piece instead of three piece and they managed to get it to fit in the elevator with a lot of hard work as the piece was oversized. So grateful I got these two guys. They worked so hard but efficiently. Thank you so much!!! - Rosemarie

Getting rid of a couch takes two things: somewhere that will take it, and a way to get it there. You find the destination, whether that's a dump, a recycling center or a donation center, and a couch removal service does the carrying and the driving. Lugg movers are on the way within an hour, or you pick a one-hour window that suits you. They carry the sofa out of whatever room it's sitting in, load it, and drive it to the drop-off, so you're neither wrestling it down a stairwell nor borrowing a truck to reach a transfer station. One booking can make up to five stops, which is what a living-room swap usually needs: the sectional that's still good goes to a donation center and the broken recliner goes to the dump. Lugg is an on-demand moving and delivery service that carries an old couch out of the building and hauls it to the dump, recycling center or donation center you name.
Couch disposal is priced per job rather than as a flat fee. You'll see your estimate before you book. It's based on the vehicle you choose plus the labor time the movers spend, priced by the minute. There's no hourly minimum, so a single sofa down one flight doesn't get rounded up to a half-day block. A walk-up, a long carry out to the street and a slow elevator all take longer, and that time reads as labor minutes. You can cancel any time before the movers arrive at no charge.
Whichever facility in Sacramento takes the couch charges its own fee for accepting it, based on weight. Your Luggers pay that on site so you don't need to go along, and it reaches your card as a separate charge after the Lugg is finished. It sits outside your estimate rather than inside it.
The drop-off address goes on the booking the same way any second stop would. If the sofa is still in good shape, a donation center is usually the cheapest ending it can have.
Charities set their own condition standards rather than following one national rule, most won't take a couch that's torn or stained, and a piece can still be turned down when it arrives at the door. A rejection costs you the trip and leaves you with the couch and a second run to the dump, so check with your local center that they'll take it before you put their address on the booking. If it isn't in good enough shape to donate, sofa disposal means a transfer station or landfill, which takes it by weight.
A couch on the way out doesn't need measuring. It came in through that door once, so it goes out through it. What's left is weight and angles. A sleeper hides a steel folding frame and weighs far more than the same sofa without one. A sectional splits into pieces that travel one at a time. A full-size couch in a narrow stairwell turns on the landing, not the doorway.
Lugg can move items up to 250 lbs each, or up to 125 lbs on a Lugg Lite. Pick the vehicle for the load when you book, and add a second stop if part of the set is going somewhere different from the rest.
There are three usual ways to get rid of a sofa: the curb, a charity, or a haul-away. If your city runs a bulk pickup day and you can wait for the date, that's the cheapest way to lose a couch, as long as you can get it to the curb yourself. That last part is where most people stop, because a sofa is manageable across a level driveway and close to impossible down three flights.
A charity will sometimes collect it for free, on their truck and their calendar, and the same condition standards decide whether they take it. A couch haul-away is for when the couch has to be gone on a date you pick rather than one you're offered. And if your city is already collecting from the curb and the only hard part is the staircase, book Lugg in Sacramento for labor only and skip the second address: same movers, no drop-off.
