Box truck contract questions

Find answers to common questions about taking jobs with Lugg.

Lugg is an on-demand moving and delivery service that partners with moving companies and delivery fleets to cover booked local moves. Fleets claim jobs off the board and assign their own trucks and crews.

There is nothing to sign and no set volume. Booked local moves appear on your job board, matched to your box truck sizes and the regions you cover, and you claim only the ones you want. Each job shows the route, schedule and estimated pay before you claim it, and your own crew runs it start to finish.

Jobs appear on your board matched to the truck sizes you run and the regions you cover. Each one shows the route, the schedule and an estimated pay range before you claim it, and the first company to claim a job gets it.

No, there is no minimum and no commitment. Pass on anything that does not fit your schedule and another company can take it. Jobs are first come, first served, so claim the ones you want.

A lead provider sells you a contact, and you still have to quote, compete and close the customer. Lugg sends you a local move that is already booked, with the route, schedule and an estimated pay range shown before you claim it. There are no lead fees and no bidding, and you only take the jobs you want.

No, fleet jobs are run start to finish by your own crew. Every job needs at least two movers, including the driver.

Owners and managers claim jobs from the job board and assign a driver. Drivers only see the jobs they are assigned and handle them.

The fleet owner or manager connects a payout account, and Lugg pays out at the end of every day, per job, plus the full tip when a customer leaves one. Only owners and managers can see payout details.
