How to move a refrigerator: getting it ready before the movers arrive
Moving a refrigerator goes faster when it's ready. Empty it the day before, take out the loose shelves and drawers, and defrost the freezer so it isn't dripping in the truck. If it has an ice maker or a water dispenser, shut off the water and disconnect the line, since Lugg movers don't touch plumbing.
Then check your manual for two things: whether it can travel on its side, and how long it should stand upright before you plug it back in.

If you've bought a fridge and the store's delivery date is a week away, you can book a Lugg to collect it from the store or a private seller today, so fridge delivery doesn't have to wait on the store's schedule.
