Tyreque and Daniel picked up my old couch and took it away to the good will today. They were prompt, very kind and very efficient. - Betsey

Amazing Luggers! They helped move our new furniture AND moved our old couch to our garage. Thank you so much for your help today! - Allison

They were soooo nice! Even moved the old couch! Fast and professional - this was my first time using the service and I will be a return customer for SURE!!! - Gina

Jordan and Staci were excellent! Perfectly on time, fast yet careful with my apartment and door, and even took my old couch away for free! - Ryder

They were here very quick in picking up my furniture at Macy’s and delivering it. Both were very professional, courteous and knowledgeable of their work. Additionally I created another order for them to move my old couch downstairs. Although challenging, they were able to make it happen. I love your app and will recommend it. More importantly, I will highly recommend Michael and Monjae. - Holly

Came on time. did excellent job. Very resonabl price. Transfered my old couch in gurage and installed new couch in same cost. - Sanjaykumar

Showed up on time. Worked hard to load the truck and strap it down so it was safe even though it was a big load. Took extra care setting up my furniture where I wanted it, even moving the old couch upstairs for me. They were respectful and courteous. - Lisa

Diego and Adam are SO nice!! They were super friendly, and quick to help us load up our old couch. I would love if they helped us again :) - Kara

Such great service. They even carried my old couch outside for me. Will definitely be using in the future. The movers did a great job and we're very helpful - Jackie

Wasn’t able to track them after they left here but on tracking app it says “unloaded”. Fyi…I was told I couldn’t book the 3 steps in one booking (p/up, delivery/dump old bbq) that it had to be 2 separate bookings….1 to have p/up-delivery and 2 to p/up old and take to dump. Alex said why didn’t you just have the delivery guys take old one to dump? My question exactly!! - Carol

Very considerate, friendly and were helpful in taking the large amount of cardboard wrapping to the dumpster. I would request these two again if the need arises. - Emily

Very prompt and efficient with the move I had requested. Plus offered quick advice on how to deal with taking other items to the dump, etc. Both friendly and business-like. It made the move very easy. - Carol

They picked up some items for donation and they were the final items in my home as I was moving out. When Goodwill did not take one of my items they messaged me to let me know they would take the item to the dump for me. They were very efficient and helpful. - Amy

In the words of my husband, “Mansour was awesome. He was polite, helpful and friendly. It felt like having a friend help with moving.” He was our main Lugger because we only needed one person to help at the storage unit. Dara helped load some stuff to go to the dump when we realized not everything fit our Uhaul. Everything worked out today with their assistance. - Sharon

This was so great today. We really appreciate your help, thanks for the suggestion to take that stuff to the dump. That works really great. Thank you so much! - Becky

They were quick and clear and friendly. One thing I would suggest that the company do: make it clear, for junk removal, that the Luggers will pay the fee and then have it added to the customer's bill. I had assumed I'd have to drive to the dump as well so as to pay the fee! - Cara

Jordan not only helped us bring our couch from IKEA inside our apartment, but also took out all the packaging and trash to the dumpster for us once we opened everything up! Super friendly! - Marcella

Chad and Royce were terrific in taking care of the jobs that I needed accomplished: unloading a delivery of flooring and taking some items to the dump. Friendly, fast, and efficient with a great attitude. - Lisa

I wish I could have had them take the boxes trash for me. Bellevue garbage is on strike. But I understand. - Rochelle

They worked quickly and effectively and even took out all the plastic wrap to save us some valuable trashcan space! - Ethan

William is AMAZING. We had a tough job to do, clearing 25 years of boxes and debris from a storage garage. He could not have been more helpful. We organized piles of “keep/give/trash” and totally cleaned out the space. He took all the trash to the Transfer Station. 10 stars! Thank you,Bill! - Martha

This was an amazing experience! I just moved out of a condo and needed some trash and other items removed. Basically as soon as they arrived, our elevator went down, leaving only 5 flights of stairs to move things up or down. They were still super friendly and just got the job done. Wish I’d used them for my actual move, which was a nightmare. These guys were great! - Emily

from loading the box in from the store, to driving the load to our front step, the service they provided was beyond excellent! they were professional and went in depth, going so far as to set it up for us and bringing the box to the trash! would definitely reccomend! - Dengping

Getting rid of a couch takes two things: somewhere that will take it, and a way to get it there. You find the destination, whether that's a dump, a recycling center or a donation center, and a couch removal service does the carrying and the driving. Lugg movers are on the way within an hour, or you pick a one-hour window that suits you. They carry the sofa out of whatever room it's sitting in, load it, and drive it to the drop-off, so you're neither wrestling it down a stairwell nor borrowing a truck to reach a transfer station. One booking can make up to five stops, which is what a living-room swap usually needs: the sectional that's still good goes to a donation center and the broken recliner goes to the dump. Lugg is an on-demand moving and delivery service that carries an old couch out of the building and hauls it to the dump, recycling center or donation center you name.
Couch disposal is priced per job rather than as a flat fee. You'll see your estimate before you book. It's based on the vehicle you choose plus the labor time the movers spend, priced by the minute. There's no hourly minimum, so a single sofa down one flight doesn't get rounded up to a half-day block. A walk-up, a long carry out to the street and a slow elevator all take longer, and that time reads as labor minutes. You can cancel any time before the movers arrive at no charge.
Whichever facility in Seattle takes the couch charges its own fee for accepting it, based on weight. Your Luggers pay that on site so you don't need to go along, and it reaches your card as a separate charge after the Lugg is finished. It sits outside your estimate rather than inside it.
The drop-off address goes on the booking the same way any second stop would. If the sofa is still in good shape, a donation center is usually the cheapest ending it can have.
Charities set their own condition standards rather than following one national rule, most won't take a couch that's torn or stained, and a piece can still be turned down when it arrives at the door. A rejection costs you the trip and leaves you with the couch and a second run to the dump, so check with your local center that they'll take it before you put their address on the booking. If it isn't in good enough shape to donate, sofa disposal means a transfer station or landfill, which takes it by weight.
A couch on the way out doesn't need measuring. It came in through that door once, so it goes out through it. What's left is weight and angles. A sleeper hides a steel folding frame and weighs far more than the same sofa without one. A sectional splits into pieces that travel one at a time. A full-size couch in a narrow stairwell turns on the landing, not the doorway.
Lugg can move items up to 250 lbs each, or up to 125 lbs on a Lugg Lite. Pick the vehicle for the load when you book, and add a second stop if part of the set is going somewhere different from the rest.
There are three usual ways to get rid of a sofa: the curb, a charity, or a haul-away. If your city runs a bulk pickup day and you can wait for the date, that's the cheapest way to lose a couch, as long as you can get it to the curb yourself. That last part is where most people stop, because a sofa is manageable across a level driveway and close to impossible down three flights.
A charity will sometimes collect it for free, on their truck and their calendar, and the same condition standards decide whether they take it. A couch haul-away is for when the couch has to be gone on a date you pick rather than one you're offered. And if your city is already collecting from the curb and the only hard part is the staircase, book Lugg in Seattle for labor only and skip the second address: same movers, no drop-off.
