What is the process for using Lugg to deliver my Purple purchase?

It's simple! Here's the process: 1. Buy your Purple bed: Complete your purchase at the store or the Purple website and select "in-store pickup." 2. Get the receipt: Hold onto your order confirmation or receipt. You'll need to upload a photo of it when you book. 3. Book your Lugg: Schedule a Lugg for pickup within the hour. Enter the store's address in Seattle as your pickup location and your home as the drop-off. 4. We handle the rest: Your Luggers will load, transport, and place your Purple bed in the room of your choice.

Do I need to be at the Purple store for pickup?

No, you don't! As long as you upload a clear photo of your receipt or order confirmation from the Purple store in Seattle, your Luggers can handle the pickup for you. Some Purple locations may require additional verification, and we will contact you if that's the case.

What if I buy something in a local Purple store and want it delivered the same day?

That's what we specialize in! You can book a Lugg right from the Purple store or parking lot in Seattle. Our crew can often arrive for pickup within the hour, getting your new Purple bed home faster than traditional delivery. If you prefer to schedule ahead, you can book your Lugg for the hour of your choice up to 60 days in advance.

Do I need to provide an order number or Purple store receipt?

Yes, upload your digital receipt or provide your Purple order confirmation number when booking so our crew can easily locate your Purple bed at the Seattle store.

Can Lugg pick up my Purple store order if it hasn't been paid for yet?

No, Lugg crews cannot complete payment at the store. Please ensure your Purple purchase is fully paid for and ready for pickup before booking.

Will Lugg wait if my Purple order isn't ready when they arrive?

For stores inside our partner network receiving flat rate delivery, we will wait up to 15 minutes for your order at no additional cost. For wait times over 15 minutes, you may need to re-schedule. For stores outside of our partner network, wait time is billable at your normal labor rate. To avoid charges, confirm with Purple in Seattle that your order is ready for pickup before booking.

Can Lugg take away my old bed when delivering my new purchase?

Yes, Lugg can pick up your new bed and then haul away the old one to a recycling facility or donate it to a local charity, including donation centers like [Goodwill](https://lugg.com/goodwill-donation-pickup) or [Habitat ReStore](https://lugg.com/habitat-for-humanity-donation-pickup) near Seattle. Just add an extra stop when booking your delivery. If you're buying from a partner store, that extra stop means your Lugg is priced as a standard Lugg, with labor billed by the minute at every stop. **Tip**: Donation and disposal centers vary widely in what they accept, so we recommend calling ahead to confirm they can take your bed, along with their hours and any potential fees.

What if I find damage to my bed upon arrival?

Please inspect your bed upon delivery. If you find damage upon receiving your bed, or discover defects from the store, note it immediately with your crew and contact the Purple store for assistance. If damage to your bed occurred during transport, please [contact us](https://lugg.com/contact) to file a damage claim. We will ask you to hold your bed as we work to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

What supplies and protective equipment will my Luggers bring for my Purple delivery?

Every Lugg Purple delivery in Seattle includes professional moving equipment, straps, dollies, moving blankets, and stretch wrap to protect your items and your space, plus a basic toolkit for light disassembly or reassembly. Pickup trucks also come equipped with a tarp for weather protection. Your Luggers will wrap fragile or bulky pieces for safe transport, take care to avoid damage to floors, walls, and elevators, and move heavy furniture, appliances, and other large items safely through tight spaces, stairs, and doorways. This helps ensure a smooth, efficient Purple delivery from start to finish.

What happens if my new bed doesn't fit through my doorway?

You are responsible for measuring your doorways, hallways, and stairwells to ensure your bed will fit before booking. Your bed cannot be delivered because it doesn't fit, it can be placed in an alternate location at your destination or be returned to the Purple store of purchase. If you prefer the item is returned to the store, you will be charged for the initial delivery attempt and for the additional return trip.

Can Lugg pick up my bed from multiple stores in one trip?

Yes, Lugg supports up to 5 pickups or drop-offs per Lugg, so you can coordinate multi-store pickups in one easy delivery. Just add each store as a stop when booking.

How much does a Lugg cost in Seattle?

Lugg prices every booking as a base fare for the vehicle you pick, a per-mile rate for the distance between your stops, and labor billed by the minute with no hourly minimum. You'll see your upfront estimate before you book, including a small variable booking fee, and rates vary by city. The vehicle you pick sets most of the price, so a single piece of furniture in a Lite or Pickup costs much less than a full apartment in a Box. Routes over 30 miles add a long-distance fee, which is already in your estimate, and a Movers only job has no mileage at all.

I never fill these out but these guys earned it without question. Tim & Ryan are exactly the guys you want as the faced of the company. You said they’d be here in only 1/2 hour and they were here 5 minutes early. They quickly moved the old and heaviest mattress I’ve ever owned. Then they took my new mattress upstairs and were done. I appreciate a service that is fast and exceeded my expectations. We appreciate you all and I hope these guys get some form of a rate increase. They are delivering in a way most companies out there can’t, don’t, or won’t. Thank you! - Doug

Jake and Winston are absolutely top notch! They got here, within the quoted time, moved the king mattress up three flights of stairs, and were in and out within 20 minutes! They were completely courteous, and respectful, not only of me, and my time, but also our new townhome! Excellent, excellent, excellent! Will ABSOLUTELY be using Lugg again, for ALL of our oversized purchases…in fact, now that I know about this service, I feel like couch shopping! - Mark

I had an urgent move-in, but my moving company couldn’t come for a few days. Thinking it was no big deal, I decided to move my mattress myself since it was a short distance, and I had bought vacuum bags to roll it up. Turns out, I was way too confident—things didn’t go as planned, and I ended up stuck in the hallway with my mattress, completely clueless about what to do. That’s when someone recommended Lugg to me. I tried it for the first time, and YuYa and Brandon showed up like lifesavers! Their truck was big enough to not only move my mattress but also some boxes of clothes and furniture I needed. They were super friendly, professional, and worked quickly. After comparing my experience with the moving company, I have to say I prefer Lugg’s service. And Lugg is super flexible, which is perfect for ppl with last min change or unexpected needs. It was such a great experience—highly recommend! - Xxx

I would love to rate Andrew and Nadia more than the full star if the rate allowed. They are very friendly, efficient and being considerate to the customers. They bring various tools like trucks and trolley to facilitate this moving. When they saw I use a mattress bag to protect my mattress, they think this will be more efficient and safe than simple wrap up. Thus they decide to buy mattress bags after this moving so that they can better serve their customers next time. You will find they are always stepping the shoes of their customers to buy appropriate tools and provide efficient and smooth moving service! - Liuye
