Where a regional Goodwill does collect, yes. The catch is that free only exists where the service exists, and it comes with their calendar rather than yours. Sofas, dining sets, bed frames and anything already broken or stained are the pieces most often turned away, and a used mattress is the one least likely to be accepted anywhere. Check with the Goodwill you're donating to and confirm they'll take the specific piece before you book, because their attendants can still decline it at the door and what one regional Goodwill accepts doesn't mean another will.
