Two nice guys, managed to take a heavy motorized love seat into multiple small spaces and down open basement stairs to get into my bedroom and took recliner chair up and placed in master bedroom. I’d hire these two gentlemen again, for sure. - Garrett

Mario and Josie were great. I had a loveseat and couch with sofa bed that was picked up from one place and brought to mine. They did a great job figuring out how to actually move everything in with some narrow movements while still being safe with my walls and ceiling. They were fantastic! - Barry

These guys got a heavy loveseat up a tricky staircase and beat the rain all with professionalism and a sense of humor. - Nancy

Our place is in the mtns and the roads were very slick. They couldn't come down our steep driveway cuz the Van would have never gotten out. They cheerfully carried the 4 sectional pieces 40yards from the top of the snow packed driveway. These guys were better than a moving company. This is our 2nd Lugg experience and both have exceeded expectations. - Pam

Total professionals, were extremely careful with my new sectional delivering it from point A to B. Highly recommend!! - Juliet

Fantastic guys, prompt and super careful with our leather sectional sofa. Thank you! First time using this service but I was super impressed with the communication and updates throughout the process. You can even track them once the item is picked up. We will definitely use this service again and recommend to others. - Becky

I would definitely use them again! My son is a little OCD and they had to move thing’s multiple times and each time said “no problem”. Very accommodating, even setting up my sectional couch and tufted headboard. Very pleased. - Paula

They were great. My husband has a bad back, so they were kind enough to help him set up our sectional. Very nice & polite. Great job! - Darlene

Timothy and Reginald were great. Early to arrive, worked together to get my large couch out the door and were able to take my coffee table as well. Efficient in and out at storage unit. All in all a great quick move. - Aubrey

Noon we’re so fast and efficient! They carefully moved the new couch and placed it exactly where we wanted it! They are great! Very professional and careful with moving through doorways and other obstacles! Great job ! Thanks! - Thomas

Getting rid of a couch takes two things: somewhere that will take it, and a way to get it there. You find the destination, whether that's a dump, a recycling center or a donation center, and a couch removal service does the carrying and the driving. Lugg movers are on the way within an hour, or you pick a one-hour window that suits you. They carry the sofa out of whatever room it's sitting in, load it, and drive it to the drop-off, so you're neither wrestling it down a stairwell nor borrowing a truck to reach a transfer station. One booking can make up to five stops, which is what a living-room swap usually needs: the sectional that's still good goes to a donation center and the broken recliner goes to the dump. Lugg is an on-demand moving and delivery service that carries an old couch out of the building and hauls it to the dump, recycling center or donation center you name.
Couch disposal is priced per job rather than as a flat fee. You'll see your estimate before you book. It's based on the vehicle you choose plus the labor time the movers spend, priced by the minute. There's no hourly minimum, so a single sofa down one flight doesn't get rounded up to a half-day block. A walk-up, a long carry out to the street and a slow elevator all take longer, and that time reads as labor minutes. You can cancel any time before the movers arrive at no charge.
Whichever facility in Denver takes the couch charges its own fee for accepting it, based on weight. Your Luggers pay that on site so you don't need to go along, and it reaches your card as a separate charge after the Lugg is finished. It sits outside your estimate rather than inside it.
The drop-off address goes on the booking the same way any second stop would. If the sofa is still in good shape, a donation center is usually the cheapest ending it can have.
Charities set their own condition standards rather than following one national rule, most won't take a couch that's torn or stained, and a piece can still be turned down when it arrives at the door. A rejection costs you the trip and leaves you with the couch and a second run to the dump, so check with your local center that they'll take it before you put their address on the booking. If it isn't in good enough shape to donate, sofa disposal means a transfer station or landfill, which takes it by weight.
A couch on the way out doesn't need measuring. It came in through that door once, so it goes out through it. What's left is weight and angles. A sleeper hides a steel folding frame and weighs far more than the same sofa without one. A sectional splits into pieces that travel one at a time. A full-size couch in a narrow stairwell turns on the landing, not the doorway.
Lugg can move items up to 250 lbs each, or up to 125 lbs on a Lugg Lite. Pick the vehicle for the load when you book, and add a second stop if part of the set is going somewhere different from the rest.
There are three usual ways to get rid of a sofa: the curb, a charity, or a haul-away. If your city runs a bulk pickup day and you can wait for the date, that's the cheapest way to lose a couch, as long as you can get it to the curb yourself. That last part is where most people stop, because a sofa is manageable across a level driveway and close to impossible down three flights.
A charity will sometimes collect it for free, on their truck and their calendar, and the same condition standards decide whether they take it. A couch haul-away is for when the couch has to be gone on a date you pick rather than one you're offered. And if your city is already collecting from the curb and the only hard part is the staircase, book Lugg in Denver for labor only and skip the second address: same movers, no drop-off.
