Great experience with Rashard and Brett! Appreciated the call that they were on their way + the overall help with a small move from my apartment to Manhattan Mini Storage. Thanks! - Katrina

Completely wowed by the Lugg service . Had two large chairs ( 40x40 boxes ) to be picked from west elm . Shipping was $279 but Lugg did it for $55 !! And right on time , excellent service!! The Lugg employee has wheels too so don’t have to lift the box except for stairs . Overall , cannot wait to use the service again !! - SHWETA
Micheal & Jean were super friendly and very helpful. Their patience and professionalism helped the move go very smoothly. They even removed some extra large cardboard boxes for me! - Allie
Max was fantastic! Super prepared and efficient even with a walk up building and heavy boxes. Many thanks! - Kasia

I had the absolute pleasure of having Marcos and Calvin as my movers! They were quick, efficient, careful with my moving boxes, and were just all around nice people. I made the mistake of bringing them to the wrong apartment (completely my fault) and when I realized and told them they handled it amazingly. I truly could not have done what they did! - Audrey
Alseny & Harry were amazing! They handled my items with care, and paid attention to boxes I had marked as fragile. They were flexible and friendly about parking difficulties. They worked quickly and worked well together. I was so impressed by their professionalism and expertise. Will definitely recommend Lugg to friends, the service was outstanding! - Emma
These guys were terrific! They were quick and efficient. Placed items in proper room (even carried in a few extra boxes which arrived via UPS) I’d definitely book them again. Saved me so much time, stress, headache and heartache. Don’t hesitate book them today! - Sherry
They arrived and went right to work. I had a table and chairs and some boxes to move and they even helped maximize the space in the storage unit! Greatly appreciated! - Margaret
They did this on a 20-degree day. They weren't fazed by a miscount of boxes and a misrepresentation of the size of the boxes. They parked the van despite abandoned construction on the curb. They carried the boxes down two flights of tightly spiraled stairs. - Mary
I was having trouble returning some boxes to Ikea. They went above and beyond by taking my stuff upstairs and even registering for the return!!! Can't recommend enough!!!! - Natalie
Brandon was so helpful and even took extra boxes for me! He was very timely and responsive when I reached out to him. Thank you so much!! - Francesca
They were on time, early, in fact, and were very professional and polite. They were patient while a figured out what boxes I needed from my storage unit. And drop off included two sets of stairs, and they did the job with a smile. Would definitely use this team again! - Annette
The guys were great at communicating with me, picked up my boxes early and got them there quickly. Very helpful and responsive. Will use Lugg again for all my transport needs! - Adriane

These guys were truly professional. They were good listeners, had a great van, and handled my job moving 30-40 large boxes quickly and safely. Highly recommended! - Sharif
Martino and Tyrone went above and beyond to take my boxes to the post office. They moved the boxes efficiently and drove efficiently. They were flexible enough to accommodate a change of delivery point. They were courteous throughout the entire process. - Christopher

Lugg loads a Manhattan Mini Storage unit, empties one, or moves what's inside from one location to another in New York City, with movers and a truck on the way within the hour and no hourly minimum to hit. Lugg is an on-demand moving and delivery service that moves things in and out of storage units, and it has completed more than 1,400 Manhattan Mini Storage moves in the past year, for a unit you already rent.
Moving and storage are two separate services here: Manhattan Mini Storage rents you the room, and Lugg moves what goes into it. Lugg has no warehouse and no units of its own, so you choose the location and the unit size, and every Lugg runs to or from a room you already hold. Pickup-and-store services that keep your things in their own warehouse are a different kind of company.
Which end is the storage unit is the only thing that changes. On the way in, the pickup is your apartment and the drop-off is the unit; on the way out it's reversed. Manhattan Mini Storage has buildings all over the city, and a move between two of them, or between two units in the same building, is still one Lugg rather than two bookings. Chelsea, SoHo, Hudson Square and the Seaport are where Lugg runs to most often.
Storage moves are priced as they go: a base fare for the truck you choose, plus a per-minute rate for the labor, both shown as an upfront estimate before you book. There's no hourly minimum, so a 40-minute run to your unit is billed as 40 minutes rather than the two-to-four-hour minimum a traditional mover starts at.
Most Manhattan Mini Storage runs are small, and a Lite, a Pickup or a Van covers the large majority of them. Because the labor is per the minute, the length of the carry is the part you can control: a unit packed with the things you need toward the door loads faster, and having your gate code and unit number ready keeps the movers moving.
One Lugg can make up to five stops, so a storage unit cleanout can drop the keepers at home, the donations at a charity and the rest at a disposal site in a single trip. Downsizing into a smaller apartment, storing furniture between leases, consolidating two units into one, and decluttering after a move all book the same way.
Lugg is an independent moving and delivery service and isn't part of Manhattan Mini Storage or affiliated with it. Your unit, its access hours and its rules are set by Manhattan Mini Storage.
