Had to get some furniture from IKEA. No regular UberX could fit the flatboxes, so needed a pickup truck and movers to help move them into my apartment (up 3 stairs) David & Nery - THANK YOU both so much! Efficient, quick, and easy. Tipped cash at end. - Bea
Emmanuel and Noel were incredible - easy to coordinate with, good at problem solving, and upbeat and positive throughout the move. They hauled a heavy sofa bed up 3 flights of stairs with a smile in 90 degree heat. Would hire them again in a heartbeat! - Elizabeth
Great movers! Arrived early, worked together to haul heavy things from my old 1st floor apartment to my new 2nd floor apartment, and did it all super quickly. Thanks guys! - Ashley
I had an excellent experience with Lugg and Libardo and Alonso. They went above and beyond and it felt like a full moving experience- not just a haul of furniture from one place to another. Thanks for your care and communication! - Bethany
Mike and Sadiki were amazing! When the mattress couldn’t fit in the small stairway and they patiently took it out of the box and managed to haul it into my apt! Then Mike helped me discard my old mattress which I’m super grateful for! Thank you!! - Suzanne
5+++++ stars! So friendly, experienced, timely and went above and beyond to help me adjust the drop off. They were incrediblely efficient and made the haul up my third floor walk up a breeze. Highly recommend! - Nancy
Cordelli and Saynee were awesome! My very heavy dresser had to be hauled up two flights of stairs. After booking, the guys arrived promptly and got the dresser all the way up without hesitation. In pristine condition! They were both very friendly and helpful. It is definitely a good idea to book them if you have the opportunity. - Meg
Friendly and fast, they cheerfully hauled 10 ikea boxes up four flights of stairs. Fantastic service! - Lisa
Couldn’t lug to intended destination - and too big for their truck/equipment (even though I’d given you measurements in advance) but did haul down to my apartment basement - nice guys and got the thing out of my place - problem solved! - Patricia M
Did a great job. Hauled way more furniture than most people have and had a super positive attitude well doing it. Thank you! - Colton
Extremely helpful mover and even helped take apart my ikea furniture and remove the old rusted AC unit bracket. Couldn’t have asked for a better person to help with our 5 floor walk up move! - Olivia
Micheal & Jean were super friendly and very helpful. Their patience and professionalism helped the move go very smoothly. They even removed some extra large cardboard boxes for me! - Allie
They both went above and beyond! They had great teamwork, were respectful and efficient. I was very anxious and with their help all anxiety was removed. - Anna
They were so great! Needed to remove a door to get the chair out and they did it! And they were so friendly and efficient. Thanks guys! - Natalie
Martino and Jaequan came to deliver a bed and when they arrived I was struggling to take apart the bed I had to remove. They helped to take apart the old bed and they put together the new one- which would have taken me a long time and reinforcements to figure out. I was having a hard morning and was so grateful for their help. They were also prompt and communicative. I would definitely recommend them. - Maura
Professional, timely, and courteous! They also helped me solve questions about junk removal in Brooklyn, which was very much appreciated. - Fred
They handled a difficult move expertly! Went above and beyond by removing light fixture covers in the hallway, artwork, furniture legs, etc. Most movers would have canceled, but Kevin & Angel stuck with it and I am so appreciative. - Louise
So great - they operate independently and solve problems critically - with a sense of urgency - communicated when they left and a few minutes before arrival - then parked across the intersection and wheel carted the delivery to the stoop sidewalk: I met them ahead and escorted them - I opened up the front door and the second - one held open the first and one handed over the three boxes up the stoop stairs through the vestibule and we let them rest inside the corridor. Then one carried an entire yellow bag with the bags as one. Then they brought in their wheel cart. Then one asked which floor. I responded. Then one carried all the bags in the one yellow bag up three flights. I carried one or two boxes and another carried the last box. They removed the four bags from their yellow bag and set them along the wall near the hallway. We set the boxes on the wall next to my door. One took a final picture while the other waited downstairs. I tipped cash. Then they left, I heard the door entry close from upstairs. I moved the items from the stairway into my room. - Javier F
The guys were great. Timely, and efficient. But when they were unwrapping the cabinet (wrapped in plastic and moving blankets) the mover accidentally kicked the base to remove the plastic, and the leg popped off and the wood cracked leaving me to put the cabinet in its base without the legs. I’d like to have a new base, and if not possible a new cabinet delivered. - Elizabeth
Overjoyed!! Ashton and Edward did absolutely amazing work! Phenomenal work across the board. They went above and beyond to secure a delicate sculpture standing upright and made certain there would be as few bumps in the trip as possible. They even shrink wrapped the sculpture base to secure it, removed the bubble wrap upon delivery, and placed it on the pedestal. My partner and I are thrilled! They knocked it out of the park! So greatly appreciated! - Carlo
Excellent. Professional, respectful, smart, experienced, hard working and good communicators. The lead is exceptional. Not an easy piece to move, and they did a great job. Also helped remove a huge couch on the way out. Highly recommended. - Linnea
On time, real quick delivery, adapted to needing to remove some legs and we’re still fast. Thanks all - Zachary
Joseph and Jose were awesome! They were super friendly and efficient. When my desk was too big for my door, they quickly removed the door, brought in the desk, and put the door back on. Super fast and respectful. Highly recommend!! Thank you! - Jaclyn
Xavier was amazing!!! He truly went above and beyond to remove the table legs when it wouldn’t fit through my narrow hallway and got the job done impressively quick. Highly highly recommend!! - lauren

A real Christmas tree is a bad fit for a car in every way at once: it's long, it's heavier than it looks, the branches spring back out the moment the netting comes off, and it leaves sap and needles on whatever it rides on. So in practice the tree decides the vehicle. You pick the tree at the lot, the farm, the nursery or the hardware store, pick the truck it lies flat in, and a crew meets you there to load it and carry it inside. A Christmas tree delivery service is really just that: a truck, a crew, and the hour you'd otherwise spend tying a fir to a roof rack. Lugg is an on-demand moving and delivery service that carries Christmas trees in New York City, real or artificial, for people who have found the tree they want and no way to get it home.
A fresh-cut tree travels lying down, so measure the load space, not the tree. A Lugg pickup bed is at least 6 feet inside wall to wall, a van is at least 8 feet long, an XL van at least 10, and a box truck 12 to 16. A boxed artificial tree is easier to handle, though a pre-lit nine-footer in its carton is bulkier and heavier than most people expect. The crew brings furniture blankets, stretch wrap and tie-down straps, and a pickup also carries a tarp, which is what keeps sap and needles out of a car you'd otherwise be vacuuming until spring. Have the stand out and ready before the crew arrives, and they can carry the tree to the room you name and set it into the stand once it's there. One Lugg can make up to five stops, so the tree, the stand and a detour to the storage unit for the ornaments are one trip rather than three.
Christmas tree disposal is the harder trip: the tree is dry by then, the netting is long gone, and it drops needles on every surface between the living room and the door. Lugg moves it out the same way it came in, with one difference that matters: you choose and provide the destination, whether that's a recycling drop-off, a mulching site or a disposal site. Lugg carries the tree there and nothing more, so finding the site and checking its hours are on you. Many towns also run a free Christmas tree pickup at the curb for a week or two in January, which is worth checking first. Where that falls down is an apartment, because a dry tree coming down four flights and across town isn't the trip a curbside program covers.
