Guys were great and moved everything up a ton of flights of stairs, I feel like I should be able to specify that in the app so the guys know what they're getting themselves into. They were quick, but we're not able to fit the queen sized mattress (and a bit of our other stuff) in the truck. Would like a van or larger sized pickup truck to finish the job tomorrow please. These guys were great though - Luke
These guys went above and beyond get a big, super heavy table into a U-Haul for me. At first we weren’t sure it could be done but they got creative and got the task done. Super friendly, professional, and would for sure hire them again. - Jennifer
Went above and beyond with an extraordinarily heavy 10ft mirror and hauled it up the stairs. So appreciative of both of them! - Alex
They were very good except it would have been nice if they removed the plastic covering the sofa. Was very difficult for me - Carol
They were great! Very considerate, they were concerned about getting carpet dirty so they took off their shoes. They removed old furniture fast and helped me move new boxes in. Would hire them again! - Nick
Theses two guys were polite professional and got the job done (which was starting to look impossible.) I was really concerned when I got home and started thinking about if it would fit through the doors and up the stairs. They were as careful as could be but one corner of the couch got a little bit dirty BUT I don’t hold them responsible because I was expecting much worse and I was able to get it cleaned up. I tried making things as easy as possible for them by taking the doors off and I had to remove the light fixture at the top of the stairs in order for it to fit through the doorway to the apartment. I gave them both a cash tip and sent them on their merry way! - Walter
Edmund and Anthony were great at navigating a tight and tricky removal of a large sofa, a very heavy sofa. They were thoughtful, considerate and pleasant to deal with. Kudos to this duo! I would definitely use their services again! - Cindy
Made sure to set up both pieces of furniture and move them around to where we wanted them! Also offered to remove shoes at the door. Very polite. - Tiffany
They were courteous, in time, and placed the items as requested, unwrapped them, and removed the waste. - Bennett
Theophilus and Brandon were phenomenal help to move a couch that we purchased from FB Marketplace! They were very kind, careful, and efficient with removing the furniture from the sellers apartment and helping us move it into our apartment. We’re so grateful for their help! - Taylor
They were great. We didn’t need help assembling but they helped by removing the giant boxes and bringing them downstairs for us. - Jessie

A real Christmas tree is a bad fit for a car in every way at once: it's long, it's heavier than it looks, the branches spring back out the moment the netting comes off, and it leaves sap and needles on whatever it rides on. So in practice the tree decides the vehicle. You pick the tree at the lot, the farm, the nursery or the hardware store, pick the truck it lies flat in, and a crew meets you there to load it and carry it inside. A Christmas tree delivery service is really just that: a truck, a crew, and the hour you'd otherwise spend tying a fir to a roof rack. Lugg is an on-demand moving and delivery service that carries Christmas trees in Boston, real or artificial, for people who have found the tree they want and no way to get it home.
A fresh-cut tree travels lying down, so measure the load space, not the tree. A Lugg pickup bed is at least 6 feet inside wall to wall, a van is at least 8 feet long, an XL van at least 10, and a box truck 12 to 16. A boxed artificial tree is easier to handle, though a pre-lit nine-footer in its carton is bulkier and heavier than most people expect. The crew brings furniture blankets, stretch wrap and tie-down straps, and a pickup also carries a tarp, which is what keeps sap and needles out of a car you'd otherwise be vacuuming until spring. Have the stand out and ready before the crew arrives, and they can carry the tree to the room you name and set it into the stand once it's there. One Lugg can make up to five stops, so the tree, the stand and a detour to the storage unit for the ornaments are one trip rather than three.
Christmas tree disposal is the harder trip: the tree is dry by then, the netting is long gone, and it drops needles on every surface between the living room and the door. Lugg moves it out the same way it came in, with one difference that matters: you choose and provide the destination, whether that's a recycling drop-off, a mulching site or a disposal site. Lugg carries the tree there and nothing more, so finding the site and checking its hours are on you. Many towns also run a free Christmas tree pickup at the curb for a week or two in January, which is worth checking first. Where that falls down is an apartment, because a dry tree coming down four flights and across town isn't the trip a curbside program covers.
