Alisher was fantastic!! Had a dolly and ramps to help make moving my washer and dryer so easy! He was super friendly and was happy to help further with connecting the new ones up, but we had no problems doing it ourselves. Would definitely hire him again! Thank you Alisher!!! - Amanda
John and Marcus were absolutely wonderful! We needed last-minute help moving several heavy pieces of furniture, including a couch up the stairs, and they got everything done in an amazing amount of time. They were professional, friendly, efficient, and clearly knew exactly what they were doing. What had turned into a stressful situation for us was handled so quickly and easily once they arrived. I cannot say enough good things about them. I would absolutely use John and Marcus again and highly recommend them. Thank you both so much! - Leslie
Jon and Jeremy were very efficient, cautious and courteous. They move a large desk up to the 3rd floor for me and that thing was HEAVY. I would definitely use them again! Thanks guys!! - Christine

Matthew and Christopher are FANTASTIC! So professional and considerate - they delivered a very heavy credenza and hung around to make sure it was exactly where we wanted it. The credenza was even covered with moving blankets for extra protection. Absolutely the best service! Thank you! - Brooke

Both guys were great. Wasn’t communicate with, professional and on time. They moved to heavy pieces for my daughter to her college apartment! Thanks - JACKIE
Amazing! They took great care of my very large and heavy dresser. They had to lift it downstairs and did amazing. Brought their own blankets and wrap for the drawers! Would definitely use this team again. Highly recommend! - Lindy
I had an amazing experience with Lugg thanks to two incredible movers who went above and beyond. They moved a massive 200+ lb dresser upstairs (no easy task). They got creative and removed all the drawers to lighten the load and with some smart maneuvering (and a lot of muscle), they made it work. Not only did they handle the heavy lifting like pros, but they were also incredibly kind and thoughtful. They even helped move my old dresser downstairs which I really appreciated! - Kim
Luiz & Jeremy were on time & efficient. These guys are strong! They took care in moving a couple of heavy pieces out of awkward spots. Great team! - Cynthia
Super timely delivery. Very professional service. Put heavy furniture item exactly where we asked. Thank you. - Roswell
These guys were awesome! I never used this app before, but I’m glad it exists! It came in handy when I purchased a big, heavy piece of furniture. They picked it up and delivered to me! Literally on demand, within 2 hours of purchasing! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 - Ashley
Yadier & Michael were fast and efficient! They delivered and assembled my large, heavy couch within an hour of me ordering the service! First time using Lugg & can’t recommend it enough. - Zara
The BEST! Their communication was awesome. They called when they were on their way to pick up my special item, called when they had it and even when they were on their way. My item was awkward, heavy and special! A Volkswagen bus bar! They carefully wrapped it in a blanket, and then a clear Stretchy material to keep it protected. The first part of the bar would not fit through the front door. So they had to carry it around to the back of the house and they did it with a smile. They even had to move other furniture in the house to get it into the house & to the room where we wanted it. They were very patient and allowed me to attach sticky felt foot pads on the bottom of the legs…all 8 of them. They moved it exactly where we wanted. These two were above & beyond! Thank you! - Jessica
Excellent work, fast, efficient, and friendly. They had to move a heavy piano and they made quick work of it. Thanks for the help! - Nick
They moved a VERY heavy antique barber chair up two flights of stairs very quickly. Appreciate their help. - Adam
Rafael and Jose were awesome! They got to my pickup spot incredibly quickly and somehow made all that heavy lifting look easy. I knew my new sofa was in good hands! They were also super polite and easy to deal with. - Camille
This was the best delivery ever. Eric was very courteous and friendly. I told him he was the best. I appreciate Lugg. This was my first time using your company but I would not hesitate using you again. Thanks! I gave Eric a tip - Laurene
Absolutely incredible service! I had a HUGE HomeGoods haul and honestly couldn’t believe how much they were able to fit into their Sprinter van. They handled everything perfectly and made the entire delivery process so easy and stress-free. They were extremely hardworking, professional, careful with all of my purchases, and incredibly helpful from start to finish. The value for the service was amazing, especially considering how much I had to move. They worked efficiently and made what could have been a stressful delivery feel effortless. I seriously cannot recommend them enough. If you need help transporting furniture, large purchases, or a big shopping haul, these are the people to call. Fantastic service, great value, and genuinely hard workers. I will absolutely use them again! - Kassandra
They were awesome! Made the whole thing extremely fast and easy to coordinate. A much better experience than trying to find professional movers—will be recommending to my friends. - Ella
This is the 2nd time we had Ali help us move furniture from one place to another. I raved about him the first time and I'm raving about him again! And Stevie was so great too! - Kim
Victor and Rhidon were very professional and friendly. They treated my dining table with care and respect. I would definitely use the lugg service again. - Eunice
I literally never leave reviews, but my experience with Colby and Kendrick was too good not to. They were absolutely phenomenal. They worked so well together and honestly should always be paired together. They came in and meant business. They were fast, efficient, personable, kind, and incredibly intentional with my belongings. The way they packed everything, handled everything, and paid attention to every little detail was unmatched. They somehow made moving, which is usually so stressful, actually feel fun and easy. They far exceeded my expectations, and I was seriously blown away by the entire experience. I genuinely cannot say enough good things about them. I would recommend Colby and Kendrick to literally anyone. So, so grateful for them. - Alyssa

Enter your addresses to see your prices and schedule your move
A refrigerator is the one appliance nobody wants to move themselves: it's tall, top-heavy, and it usually went in before the counters, the cabinets or the new flooring did. With Lugg, you pick the truck that fits your fridge, enter your addresses, and see your upfront estimate before you book anything. Lugg is an on-demand moving and delivery service in Austin that moves refrigerators, freezers and mini fridges, whether one is going to a new home, out to the garage, or home from the store or a Facebook Marketplace seller.
Most refrigerators should travel standing upright, so book a Pickup, XL or Box. A Van isn't recommended for a full-size fridge: its cargo area is 4.5 ft tall, too short to stand one up.
The cost to move a refrigerator with Lugg is an upfront estimate you see before you book, built from the distance between your addresses plus the time the job takes on site. There are no hourly minimums, so one fridge going across town is never priced like a whole-home move.
Fridge movers carry it up stairs, into elevators and down long hallways. If the old fridge needs to go somewhere too, that's a second stop on the same booking, not a second booking.
Moving a refrigerator goes faster when it's ready. Empty it the day before, take out the loose shelves and drawers, and defrost the freezer so it isn't dripping in the truck. If it has an ice maker or a water dispenser, shut off the water and disconnect the line, since Lugg movers don't touch plumbing.
Then check your manual for two things: whether it can travel on its side, and how long it should stand upright before you plug it back in.
If you've bought a fridge and the store's delivery date is a week away, you can book a Lugg to collect it from the store or a private seller today, so fridge delivery doesn't have to wait on the store's schedule.
One Lugg holds up to 5 stops, so Lugg movers can carry the new fridge into the kitchen and move the old one to the garage, the basement or a second home on the same booking.
Not every fridge move starts in a kitchen. Lugg movers carry mini fridges to dorms, chest freezers up from basements and spare fridges out to the garage, and the smaller ones often fit in a pickup truck.
Full-size models are another matter. Lugg's weight limit is 125 lbs per Lugger, or 250 lbs per item on any vehicle that comes with two Luggers: Pickup, Van, XL, Box or Box+. Anything heavier needs more Luggers on the job, so book a second Lugg for the same time window.
