Very friendly and professional. Both Emiliano and Shawn came in, assessed, planned and stocked the boxes in my U-Haul parked out front. They even used a strap of their truck to hold the things . I would definitely recommend them. - Shyamkumar
John & Teddy were absolutely amazing unloading my moving truck into my apartment building. Extremely fast and an immense help while moving. Would definitely recommend them. - William
Both guys were awesome. Showed up right on time, they hammered through getting everything loaded and unloaded. A huge help. Thanks fellas! - Andy
Manuel and Jacob were excellent to work with. They were on time after my previous appointment was delayed. They made sure everything was onloaded and offloaded with utmost care. Would highly recommend them! - Harsh
Jon and Jeremy were absolutely fantastic! They handled the loading with care, were super professional and went above and beyond to make my move stress free. Highly recommend their services! - Lynn
I had an amazing experience with Lugg thanks to two incredible movers who went above and beyond. They moved a massive 200+ lb dresser upstairs (no easy task). They got creative and removed all the drawers to lighten the load and with some smart maneuvering (and a lot of muscle), they made it work. Not only did they handle the heavy lifting like pros, but they were also incredibly kind and thoughtful. They even helped move my old dresser downstairs which I really appreciated! - Kim
Good communication and worked well in getting a large, delicate plant wrapped and then secured in the truck. - Paige
Carlos and Michael made it look easy but it was a lot of hard worked they saved me from trying to do this on my own. I was very impressed by how efficient they were with getting it of the truck and into the house. I highly recommend Lugg. And the pricing was very reasonable. - Mario
Luiz was communicative and friendly. He arrived on time in a very clean pickup truck. My item was well secured and protected. - Michael
Jon and Jeremy were fantastic! They were kind and quick and took great care in packing all of my items. They made sure it was in the truck securely and even accommodated a last minute entrance swap mid-move. I would absolutely recommend Jon, Jeremy and Lugg to my friends. 10/10!! - Kat
They were amazing!! So fast, nice, efficient, strong and took care of all the items and managed to fit all my stuff into their truck even though there was a ton. Thank you!! - Charlotte
This is an amazing service! Your website is easy to navigate.,Your trucks are very nice and Alfredo and Catherine are AMAZING and very professional!! As far as moving services go, you are it. This company is fantastic!!! - Millie
They were awesome! Made the whole thing extremely fast and easy to coordinate. A much better experience than trying to find professional movers—will be recommending to my friends. - Ella
These guys knocked it out of the park. Clearly professional movers. Would absolutely use them again! I've hired a number of movers over the years, these are the only guys I'd hire again! - Joey
Incredible movers! Above and beyond and so kind and willing to get creative. Can’t recommend them enough - Megan
I am so happy to know about this service. The process was as simple as ordering an uber. The movers were great and very friendly! - Kathleen
These guys were great. I recently had a hip surgery so can’t move anything. They did a pick up and drop off to me of a mattress and did some light assembly. Super decent people! Grateful for Lugg.com and these movers! - John
So happy I was able to find these movers they were great for moving small items things I couldn’t move myself. Found out about them from my local apartment - Adria
Yadier and Michael were expert movers today. They were efficient, helpful, and ensured my move went as smooth as possible. I’m so happy I chose Lugg for moving, and especially that Yadier and Michael were able to help make it easy. - Kaitlin
Outstanding Service from Michael and Yadier! Michael and Yadier were exceptional. They arrived on time, took extra care to shrink-wrap my white sectional couch, and efficiently navigated my large sectional through narrow doorways. Despite the intense heat, they worked swiftly and thoughtfully. Their professionalism and attention to detail were impressive. Highly, highly recommend Lugg and specifically these two movers! - Kim
A few technical hiccups but once those were resolved the service was perfect. Movers were great and friendly. Alex at home office even called to check in about my experience and explain the issues. Very affordable for just moving a few things. Highly recommend. - Cynthia
Lugg movers were extremely fast and kept in constant contact with me! They let us know about a mark that was on purchase that was being delivered! They are very kind! Would highly recommend and definitely will use them again in the future! - Amy
These guys were patient while I coordinated a move while out of town. They were kind, careful, communicative and helpful! - Grace
They were great. Friendly and respectful and they even helped move a heavy coffee table to reconfigure my living room. I tipped in cash and gave them beverages and they left with a smile. Highly recommend 😁👍🩷 - Amy

Enter your addresses to see your prices and schedule your move
Lugg is an on-demand moving and delivery platform where you book local movers with a truck, so a job you'd have spent a day renting, driving and loading yourself takes a few taps to book. You enter a pickup address and a drop-off address, pick the vehicle that fits the load, and a crew arrives to do the lifting and the driving. There's nothing to reserve at a counter and nothing to bring back.
Money is one thing, but your time and energy are another. Renting a truck means driving out to the lot, checking it out, usually leaving a deposit, buying supplies, driving it back to your place, loading it yourself, driving across town, unloading it, refueling, returning it, and then finding your own way home. An hour of actual moving turns into most of a Saturday, and you're doing every step of it.
A Lugg estimate includes the truck, the crew, and the equipment they bring. There's no day or hourly rate to extend if the job runs long, no fuel stop along the way, and no dolly or moving blankets to add by the item.
If you've already rented a truck, you can still book Movers only and have the heavy lifting handled. Lugg movers load the rental, unload it, or both, and they can take furniture apart and put it back together while they're there. Loading at one address and unloading at another takes a Movers only booking at each end.
Both are one Lugg. A single couch bought across town, a mattress and bed frame, a treadmill that has to go down to the basement, or a studio and one-bedroom cleared out and set back up at the other end. The vehicle is sized to the load; the rest of the process is the same.
The number you see before booking is built from the vehicle's base fare plus the crew's time, billed by the minute, so a short job prices like a short job. Stairs, a long carry from the door, and a slow elevator all take longer, and that time shows up as labor minutes.
U-Haul is a registered trademark of U-Haul International, Inc. Use of third-party trademarks or registered trademarks does not imply any affiliation with or endorsement by such third party.
Every Lugg includes the vehicle you choose (Lite, Pickup, Van, XL, Box or Box+), movers to load it at pickup, the drive, and unloading into the rooms you choose at the destination in Austin. Your movers bring dollies, furniture blankets, stretch wrap, forearm lifting straps, tie-down straps and basic tools like a screwdriver and an Allen key.
Lugg lets you choose the vehicle that fits your move in Austin: Lite, Pickup, Van, XL, Box or Box+. Here's a quick look at the cargo space in each:
Tip: Pickups carry a tarp for light rain. If the forecast calls for heavier rain, choose an enclosed vehicle: a Van, XL, Box or Box+.
If you need a lift gate, choose a Box or Box+ and add a note to your booking. A lift gate isn't guaranteed, so plan for every item to be carried.
Lugg's weight limit is 125 lbs per Lugger, or 250 lbs per item on any vehicle that comes with two Luggers: Pickup, Van, XL, Box or Box+. Anything heavier needs more Luggers on the job, so book a second Lugg for the same time window. There's no limit on how many items you move, and size comes down to which vehicle you choose.
Yes, with Lugg you can book on-demand, same-day, and next-day moving truck moves. Movers and a truck can arrive within the hour, or you can schedule up to 60 days in advance for a time that works best for you.
Yes, you can add multiple stops to a single Lugg, perfect if you need to pick up items from a store, drop a few things at storage, and then head to your new place in Austin. Just enter each stop in the order you'd like during booking, and your crew will handle them all in one Lugg.
Mileage is totaled across your whole route, so if your stops add up to more than 30 miles you'll also see a long-distance fee in your estimate.
Lugg prices every booking as a base fare for the vehicle you pick, a per-mile rate for the distance between your stops, and labor billed by the minute with no hourly minimum. You'll see your upfront estimate before you book, including a small variable booking fee, and rates vary by city.
The vehicle you pick sets most of the price, so a single piece of furniture in a Lite or Pickup costs much less than a full apartment in a Box. Routes over 30 miles add a long-distance fee, which is already in your estimate, and a Movers only job has no mileage at all.
No, customers cannot ride along with the crew, for safety and liability reasons.
No, Lugg does not pack, unpack, or provide packing supplies (boxes, tape, mattress bags, floor runners). Please have items boxed, sealed, and labeled before the crew arrives. Your Luggers will carefully protect furniture and other large items with moving supplies and equipment during transport in Austin.
Yes, your Luggers can help with basic furniture disassembly and assembly during your moving truck move. Crews bring standard tools, but if your items need specialty tools or instructions, please have those ready. Time spent disassembling or assembling is included in your total labor.
Yes, you're responsible for legal, safe parking at both pickup and the destination. If a permit is required in Austin, please secure it in advance. Wait time is billable, and a lack of access may require rescheduling.
Your Lugg crew will do everything we safely can to ensure a successful move. If an item can't be moved due to size or access, we can return it to the pickup or another location as an additional stop in Austin. Standard rates apply. We recommend measuring ahead of time to prevent this.
Yes, your Lugg crew will place furniture and boxes in the rooms you choose on any accessible floor. Please note, we do not provide mounting or installation services.
Lugg movers can take packaging and trash to an on-site dumpster, or move an old item to the curb for city pickup, as part of your labor time.
To haul packaging, trash or old items away, or to donate them, add an extra stop (or stops) when you book, at a recycling center, disposal site or local charity you choose, like Goodwill or Habitat ReStore near Austin.
Tip: Donation and disposal centers vary widely in what they accept, so call ahead to confirm they can take your items, and check their hours and any fees.
Lugg is different from a truck rental because you don't rent, drive or return anything: you book the vehicle and the movers together, and they load it, drive it and unload it. There's no deposit to put down, no fuel to top up and no lot to bring it back to, and you can track your movers live from pickup to drop-off in Austin. A single Lugg can run up to 150 miles.
