Can Lugg move and deliver appliances in Atlanta?

Yes, Lugg can move and deliver nearly any household appliance, including refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, oven ranges, and even outdoor grills or AC units in Atlanta.

Does Lugg provide same-day & next-day washer and dryer moves in Atlanta?

Yes, Lugg provides on-demand, same-day, and next-day washer and dryer moves. You can book movers and a truck within the hour, or schedule up to 60 days in advance for a time that works best for you.

Can Lugg pick up from stores like Home Depot and Lowe's, or from Facebook Marketplace?

Yes, Lugg can pick up and deliver from big-box stores like Best Buy, Home Depot, and Lowe's, local appliance shops, and from online marketplace sellers on platforms such as Facebook Marketplace in Atlanta. At the destination, your Luggers will deliver your washer and dryer to your room of choice and place it right where you want it.

My building is a walk-up with stairs and no elevator, can Lugg still help with my washer and dryer move?

Yes, Luggers in Atlanta are experienced with walk-ups and tight spaces. Your Lugg crew will carefully bring your furniture to or from your room of choice, exactly where you want it. **Heavy washer and dryer notice:** Please confirm stairs are wide enough to accommodate safe placement, as Luggers can't hoist appliances or use ladders.

What size truck and crew should I book for my washer and dryer move?

Pick the truck that fits what you're moving. Almost every option is a two-Lugger booking, so crew size isn't usually the decision — the Lugg Lite is the exception. * Lite: 6 ft+ long × 4.5 ft wide. A single Lugger with a pickup truck, for a stack of boxes or a few lighter pieces. * Pickup: 6 ft+ long × 4.5 ft wide. The same truck as the Lite, with a second Lugger. * Van: 8 ft+ long × 4 ft wide × 4.5 ft tall. Enclosed, so better in bad weather. * XL: 10 ft+ long × 5.5 ft wide × 6.4 ft tall. * Box: 12–16 ft long × 6 ft wide × 7 ft tall. * Box+: 18–24 ft long × 6 ft wide × 7 ft tall. The largest option, built for commercial relocations and anything that needs maximum cargo space. **Tip**: Pickup trucks carry a tarp for light rain, but book an enclosed truck — Van, XL, Box or Box+ — if heavier rain is forecast. When in doubt, size up. Not all box trucks have a lift gate. If your washer and dryer move needs one, say so in the '**What are you moving?**' field when booking and Lugg will do its best to accommodate.

Can Lugg move multiple appliances at once?

Yes, you can book a single Lugg to move multiple appliances, as long as the total load fits safely in the truck and stays within the crew's lifting limits. For example, you can move a washer and dryer together in one Lugg.

Does Lugg have size or weight limits for my washer and dryer move?

Lugg's weight limit is 125 lbs per Lugger, or 250 lbs per item on any vehicle that comes with two Luggers: Pickup, Van, XL, Box or Box+. Anything heavier needs more Luggers on the job, so book a second Lugg for the same time window. There's no limit on how many items you move, and size comes down to which vehicle you choose.

Will Lugg install or hook up my washer and dryer?

Luggers deliver and place your washer and dryer in the room of your choice, but they **cannot perform hookups or installation** involving electrical, plumbing, or gas lines. If installation is needed, we recommend scheduling your Lugg first and then booking a certified technician for connection afterward.

What supplies and protective equipment will my Luggers bring for my washer and dryer move?

Every Lugg washer and dryer move in Atlanta includes professional moving equipment, straps, dollies, moving blankets, and stretch wrap to protect your items and your space, plus a basic toolkit for light disassembly or reassembly. Pickup trucks also come equipped with a tarp for weather protection. Your Luggers will wrap fragile or bulky pieces for safe transport, take care to avoid damage to floors, walls, and elevators, and move heavy furniture, appliances, and other large items safely through tight spaces, stairs, and doorways. This helps ensure a smooth, efficient washer and dryer move from start to finish.

Can Lugg pick up my new washer and dryer and haul away, recycle, or donate the old one on the same trip?

Yes, Lugg can pick up your new washer and dryer and then haul away the old one to a recycling facility or donate it to a local charity, including donation centers like [Goodwill](https://lugg.com/goodwill-donation-pickup) or [Habitat ReStore](https://lugg.com/habitat-for-humanity-donation-pickup) near Atlanta. Just add an extra stop when booking your move. If your new washer and dryer is coming from a partner store, that extra stop means your Lugg is priced as a standard Lugg, with labor billed by the minute at every stop. **Tip**: Donation and disposal centers vary widely in what they accept, so we recommend calling ahead to confirm they can take your washer and dryer, along with their hours and any potential fees.

Can I add additional items to my washer and dryer move?

Yes, you can include extra items in the same Lugg, like smaller household goods, boxes, or accessories that came with your appliance (hoses, vents, or pedestals), as long as everything fits safely in the truck and stays within the crew's weight limit.

How should I prepare for my washer and dryer move in Atlanta?

To ensure a smooth move: - Make sure there's a clear 3–4 ft path and measure any tight spaces. - Protect floors and secure pets. - If your building requires it, reserve elevators or loading docks ahead of time. - If you're replacing an old washer and dryer, disconnect it before your Luggers arrive.

What happens if my washer and dryer gets damaged during the move?

We always recommend inspecting your washer and dryer upon arrival. In the rare event that damage occurs to your item(s) or your property in Atlanta, our Support Team will promptly review the issue, coordinate any necessary repairs or replacements, and work with you to make things right. To file a damage claim, [get in touch through our contact page](https://lugg.com/contact) or use live chat. We'll guide you through the next steps and may ask you to hold the item while we review and resolve the issue as quickly as possible. Lugg w/ Paki & Sadiki : This is my second time using Lugg, and my movers went above and beyond with assisting me! They not only expertly moved my antique furniture out of a home with multiple flights of stairs, but they also assembled my bed upon delivery to my home! I will continue to use the service. If you too would like to use the service, I would recommend these two movers for all of your needs. Seriously! Despite being stung by a wasp at my home, they still were so quick and helpful. 100/10 movers. - Malia
