Every organization sets its own rules, so call the one you're donating to before you plan around it, because what one takes doesn't mean another will.
This is the part a single charity's truck can't do. Bags of clothes, boxes of housewares and the armchair nobody wants to carry down can all go in one booking, and one booking holds up to five stops. So the clothes reach one place, the furniture reaches another, and anything nobody accepts goes on to a recycling or disposal site instead of back into your hallway. Plan the stops when you book and they're in the estimate you see before you commit.
