Book a Lugg once you've paid, and Lugg movers pick up your purchase and carry it inside to the room you choose, often within the hour. You pay Serena & Lily for what you buy, and Lugg's upfront estimate covers the delivery. Lugg is an on-demand moving and delivery service that picks up Serena & Lily furniture from outlets and design shops for people who want it home the same day.
Outlet finds rarely fit in the car, and they don't wait around for you to come back with a truck. Pay for your piece at the register, then book a Lugg with the outlet as your pickup and your home as the drop-off. Tables, chairs and dressers are the most common Serena & Lily Luggs, followed by beds and sofas, and rugs, rattan and outdoor pieces come home the same way.
Choose a vehicle at least as long as your longest piece. A Van (at least 8 feet) is enclosed, which keeps upholstery, linen slipcovers and rattan dry, and it's the most common choice for a Serena & Lily run. A pickup truck, booked as a Lite or a Pickup, has a bed at least 6 feet long and carries a tarp. An XL (at least 10 feet) or a Box truck, 12 to 16 feet, takes a bed, a dresser and a dining set in one trip.
Lugg movers wrap and strap each piece before it goes on the truck, which matters most on painted dressers, woven rattan and anything with a finish that scuffs easily. Solid wood dressers and sideboards are heavy, so check the weight before you book. Lugg's weight limit is 125 lbs per Lugger, or 250 lbs per item on any vehicle that comes with two Luggers: Pickup, Van, XL, Box or Box+. Anything heavier needs more Luggers on the job, so book a second Lugg for the same time window.
