First experience using Lugg to move a white sofa I bought on FB marketplace. Very impressed with sophistication of these movers! They wrapped the couch in plastic, sealed up the cushions in clean containers and had two dollies. I think we tend to underestimate weight/size of items we want to move but im so glad I opted for the van vs truck and 2 guys versus opting to be the helper for a discount. It did add about 40% to the cost of my couch but still a deal.
Packed the couch really well to protect it and navigated through some pretty tight spots. Appreciate it!
Jahlil and Brandon J. were the best. They even shrink-wrapped the couch so that it was protected whilst in the van and not only moved it into the apartment, but arranged it to my liking. Thank you both so much!

Both Michael and Jerome were great! They called/texted when they were on their way and arrived right when they said they would (even earlier than scheduled). They quickly assessed the layout of the home and what was needed and safely/securely packed and protected our couch before moving it up two flights of stairs and around several tight turns. They communicated with each other very well and did not once hit any of our banisters, ceiling or walls. They packed up and left within minutes, so this experience was really great!
Every single thing about my situation had the potential to annoy a mover - big, heavy couch, difficult apartment entrance, and I’m on the third floor. Julio and Nestor were CHAMPS and really put 100% into a very difficult delivery. They made my day!

We couldn’t get the couch through the narrow apartment door, but Michael and Jake tried every which way. I’m happy they did their absolute best—no one could have got this couch in here! It was expensive but a cheaper company would have given up after five minutes. Lugg has my vote for their heroic efforts with a couch that was just one inch too wide.
Jerome and Michael were called late into the day to cover for a crew that could not make my delivery. They took up the job and stayed on it until my new couch was delivered to me late into the evening - all the while keeping me updated about the situation.
