How does labor time work?
Lugg charges labor by the minute for the time your Lugg movers spend working at each stop on a standard Lugg. The clock pauses while they drive between stops, so you're never charged for drive time, and there's no hourly minimum.
A partner store delivery has a fixed price instead, marked Final price in the app with no labor rate listed, as long as only one stop on your route isn't a partner store. If you add a second stop that isn't a partner store, such as a storage unit or the dump, your Lugg is priced as a standard Lugg, with labor time at every stop. Here's how Lugg pricing works.
What counts as labor time?
Labor minutes cover everything your Lugg movers do on site:
Finding parking and accessing your location
Locating and assessing your items
Wrapping and protecting furniture
Loading items onto the vehicle
Securing items for safe transportation
Unloading and placing items in the room you choose
Basic disassembly and reassembly
Unboxing and carrying packaging to an on-site dumpster or the curb
Any wait time, such as waiting for elevator access or a gate to open
When does the clock start and stop?
Labor time starts automatically when GPS confirms your Lugg movers have arrived at each stop. When the work at that stop is done, they mark it complete, which pauses the clock while they drive to the next location. The clock stops for good once the final stop is marked complete.
