Does Lugg provide furniture assembly and disassembly?
Yes — Luggers are always happy to help with assembly and disassembly.
Standard Luggs
On standard Luggs, the time your Luggers spend assembling or disassembling furniture is included in your labor time and reflected in your final bill. Common examples include putting together a bed frame, attaching legs to a couch, reassembling a modular sectional, or removing drawers from a dresser.
Your Luggers arrive with basic tools like a screwdriver and drill with standard bits. If your items require specialty tools or instructions, have those available for your Luggers. To see everything your crew shows up with, check out What equipment and moving supplies do Luggers bring?. If you'd prefer your Luggers take care of everything, they can do that. If you'd rather save time, having items disassembled and by the door before your Luggers arrive keeps things moving.
Partner store deliveries
Partner store deliveries are flat-rate, so assembly works a little differently. Every partner store delivery includes up to 15 minutes of room-of-choice placement at your destination. If you'd like your Luggers to assemble what they deliver, add Assembly when you book — it's a toggle on the What are you moving? screen. Assembly is a flat add-on priced by the vehicle you book, starting at $34.
What Luggers don't handle
Assembly doesn't include packing or unpacking moving boxes, TV wall mounting, appliance hookups, plumbing, electrical work, or anything that requires drilling into walls. If you're not sure whether your item qualifies, reach out to our support team at support@lugg.com or through live chat on lugg.com or in the Lugg app.
Need assembly only?
If you just need help assembling furniture — no moving involved — you can book a Labor Only Lugg. Enter the same address for both pickup and drop-off, and your Luggers can spend as long as you need on assembly or any other on-site work.
