How do I book labor-only movers with Lugg if I don't need a truck?

Lugg is labor-only moving help in Alpine you can book in a couple of taps: enter your address, then tap **Labor only** in the suggestions underneath it. That sets the same address as your drop-off, so the whole job stays in one place — moving items within your home or building. You can also just enter the same address in both fields.

The Lugg app is asking me to select a truck, but I just need the movers. What should I choose?

You still pick a vehicle, because that's what sets your crew. Choose **Lite** if one mover is enough — it has the lowest base fare and the lowest per-minute rate, but it's also only one mover, so it's the cheapest way to book a one-person job. Choose **Pickup** if you need two. Weight is the other thing to check. Either way the vehicle just sits there while the crew works: with the same address at both ends there's no mileage in your fare, so you're only paying the base fare plus the per-minute labor rate.

How does Lugg calculate my time?

The clock starts when the crew arrives at your address and stops when the last thing you asked for is done. Lugg bills that time by the minute with no minimum, so a 40-minute job costs 40 minutes. If the work finishes faster than you planned you only pay for what you used, and if it runs longer the crew can keep working at the same per-minute rate. You don't book a block of time, so it helps to have a rough idea of what jobs take: * **Rearranging furniture:** moving a few heavy items within your home usually takes about an hour. * **Loading or unloading a truck or pod:** 2–3 hours for a studio or one-bedroom, 3–5 hours for a two- or three-bedroom home. * **Event setup:** varies a lot, but an hour or two covers most table, chair and decor setups. They bring a dolly, moving blankets, stretch wrap and straps, and they can take a bed frame apart and put it back together in the room it's going in. What they won't do is pack loose things into boxes for you: dishes, books, clothes, the junk drawer. Have all of that boxed and taped before the crew arrives, because the clock's running while they wait.
