Lugg moves Peloton equipment between homes, apartments and storage units, and out of a seller's garage if you bought yours secondhand on Marketplace. A Bike weighs about 135 pounds and a Bike+ about 140, so both sit comfortably inside the 250 pounds per item that the two-Lugger products cover (Pickup, Van, XL, Box and Box+). A Lugg Lite is a single Lugger with a 125-pound limit, which even a Bike is over, so every Peloton needs at least two Luggers and the heavier machines need more. A Tread is about 290 pounds and a Tread+ about 455, so both need extra hands booked alongside them, and checking the weight of your machine before you book is what gets the right crew there on the first try. Lugg is an on-demand moving and delivery service that moves Peloton bikes and treadmills in Parole, with a truck and the muscle to load it, for a machine that's too heavy to shift alone.
Since a Peloton Tread weighs about 290 pounds, it's just over the 250-pound limit, so it needs one more Lugger: book a Lugg Lite alongside your main booking. A Tread+ at about 455 pounds needs two more, so book a Pickup instead. Either way it's simpler than it sounds: book a second Lugg for the same day and time with the same two addresses, and both crews arrive together. Lite is the one-mover option, Pickup is the two-mover option with the lowest base fare, and that's why Pickup is the one to book when you need a second pair of hands. If you'd rather not book twice and you're able to lift, you can help the crew on site instead and keep the whole thing to one booking. Just plan for both ends: someone has to be lifting at the pickup and at the drop-off, not only at one of them.
The seat post and handlebars on a Bike come down on the machine's own adjustment knobs with no tools at all, and that's usually enough to get one through a doorway. Pedals are worth taking off yourself before the crew arrives, because they need a 15mm pedal wrench and the left one is reverse-threaded, so it's not something to improvise at the door. A Tread shouldn't be broken down by a moving crew at all: the deck, the uprights and the screen are a torque-specific rebuild, and your warranty is sensitive to who did the work. Book a Peloton technician for the teardown and the reassembly, and book Lugg for the transport in between.
Measure the narrowest turn on the route rather than the doorway, because a Tread doesn't break down into light pieces and a tight landing or a switchback stairwell is where a move stalls. Clear a path three to four feet wide at both ends, and reserve the elevator or loading dock if your building asks for it. More floors means more time on the clock, and the estimate moves with it.
Pricing runs on the product you pick, which sets the base fare and factors in the distance between your two addresses, plus labor time by the minute once the crew is working. A ground-floor Bike swap and a fourth-floor Tread aren't the same booking. Enter both addresses and you'll see the estimate before anything is confirmed, and there are no hourly minimums. Same-day slots book in one-hour blocks and scheduled moves go out up to 60 days ahead. Up to five stops fit on a single booking, so a pickup from a Marketplace seller and a drop at your place is one job.
