Lugg hauls it, and you choose where it goes
Lugg moves your junk; Lugg doesn't own what happens to it afterwards. You pick the drop-off, whether that's a landfill or transfer station, a recycling center, or a Goodwill or Habitat ReStore if the piece is still usable, and that address goes on the booking like any other stop. One booking can make both stops, which is what a room clear-out usually needs: the dresser that's still good goes to a donation center and the broken bed frame goes to the dump.
Facilities charge their own fee for taking your items, based on their combined weight. Your Luggers pay it on site so you don't need to go along, and it reaches your card as a separate charge after the Lugg is finished. It sits outside your estimate rather than inside it.
Bulk trash day, a dumpster, or junk hauling
If your city runs a bulk pickup day, that's typically the cheapest option you'll find, provided you can wait for the date and drag everything to the curb yourself. A dumpster earns its keep on a renovation, where debris piles up over days and the container needs to sit in the driveway the whole time.
If your city is already hauling it away and the hard part is getting everything out to the curb, book Lugg for labor only and skip the drop-off entirely. A sleeper sofa up from the basement, a dresser down three flights, stacked at the curb the night before pickup: same movers, no second address.
