Who loads a PODS container?
You do, or you hire it out. PODS delivers the container to your address and comes back for it, and the loading in between isn't part of that. Most people renting a container are moving a long way, and that's the appeal. PODS hauls it so nobody has to drive a truck across the country. Lugg is the local half at each end. A crew loads the container while it's sitting on your driveway, PODS takes it from there, and a second crew empties it once it's been delivered to the new address. So a container move is typically booked as two Luggs rather than one, often weeks apart and in two different cities.
The carry from your door to the container
PODS puts the container where its truck can reach. That's a driveway, a parking space, sometimes the street, and rarely right outside your door.
