Facebook Marketplace delivery in Washington, D.C.

Moved a living room set from Facebook Marketplace for me and did an excellent job loading and unloading efficiently. Took great care to avoid damage

First experience using Lugg to move a white sofa I bought on FB marketplace. Very impressed with sophistication of these movers! They wrapped the couch in plastic, sealed up the cushions in clean containers and had two dollies. I think we tend to underestimate weight/size of items we want to move but im so glad I opted for the van vs truck and 2 guys versus opting to be the helper for a discount. It did add about 40% to the cost of my couch but still a deal.

This is my second time being assigned Michael & Jerome for a furniture pickup/drop off, and I cannot recommend them enough. They were communicative the whole way through, especially because I wasn’t at the pickup location. They worked a miracle to get an oversized dresser out a second story window and delivered it upstairs through crazy narrow angles without leaving a single mark on the walls or antique banister. Cannot thank them enough for their professionalism, skillset, and personable nature.

These two are awesome! They immediately put me at ease, and were both super friendly and funny and cool. They did a great job handling a couple of precious pieces of antique furniture, and didn’t complain at the difficult task I had for them. I would 100% request their help again and feel grateful to have met them.

I accidentally sent them to the wrong house. I fat fingered the address. They called me and figured it out without delay. They very very careful with my antique writers desk and were diligent with their time. Thanks guys!!!

Marvin and Edwen were patient when it came to picking up my vintage console table from the seller. I didn’t realize the piece had a glass top, so I did not warn them but they came prepared with a blanket that they bungie’d over to transport it safely. They kept in communication and were very friendly! Amazing service

Jahlil arrived later than expected because the Lugg app directed him to the delivery location, not the pick up location. Neither Jahlil nor I could raise anyone at Lugg to help, since they do not have a support line for either Luggers or customers -- "Contact Us" is exclusively email. This is an abject failure of customer support. Jahlil and I talked to one another on the phone and got him to my house. During what must have been a very frustrating experience, Jahlil was calm, patient, and courteous. He delivered my goods. I would happily hire Jahlil again. I cannot say the same for Lugg. Putting drivers out on their own without support is exploitative. Failing to have a customer help line is reason to use an different another delivery service.

Jerome and Jahlil were really good movers under difficult circumstances. The pieces to be moved were in a house that was being refurbished, and boxes and furniture made maneuvering tricky and problem solving necessary. They patiently made their way through and got the things loaded. At delivery all went smoothly and my daughter was very pleased with their work. I’ll definitely use LUGG again and have already told a couple of friends about this service!
