Yes, Lugg provides small moving services with professional movers and trucks, on demand. Luggers can arrive in as little as 30 minutes or be scheduled up to 60 days in advance, perfect for apartment, condo, or home moves of any size. Whether you're moving across town, between neighborhoods, or relocating locally, Lugg makes short-distance small moves fast and easy.

Can Lugg move on weekends or evenings?

Yes, Lugg operates seven days a week, including evenings and weekends, so you can move when it's most convenient for you. Book anytime in the [Lugg app](https://short.lu.gg/lugg-app) or on our [website](https://book.lugg.com/), movers are available Monday–Saturday from 7 AM–10 PM and Sunday from 8 AM–9 PM. Perfect for working professionals or weekend move-outs.

What supplies and protective equipment will my Luggers bring for my small move?

Every Lugg small move includes professional moving equipment, straps, dollies, moving blankets, and stretch wrap to protect your items and your space, plus a basic toolkit for light disassembly or reassembly. Pickup trucks also come equipped with a tarp for weather protection. Your Luggers will wrap fragile or bulky pieces for safe transport, take care to avoid damage to floors, walls, and elevators, and are trained to move heavy furniture, appliances, and other large items safely through tight spaces, stairs, and doorways. This helps ensure a smooth, efficient small move from start to finish. We do not provide moving boxes or mattress covers. Please have these items ready if needed.

Can Lugg provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI) for apartment or building moves?

If your apartment building, condo, or HOA requires a Certificate of Insurance, Lugg can provide one at no extra cost. After booking, just email [support@lugg.com](mailto:support@lugg.com) with your building's COI requirements, including your name, address, and move date.

Can Lugg help with small moves that have multiple stops?

Yes, this is common for local moves! You can add multiple stops to your Lugg if you need to pick up or drop off items at more than one location, like stopping by a storage unit, picking up furniture from a local store or marketplace seller, or moving items to another new home across town.

Can Lugg move within the same building or complex?

Yes! For in-building or same-complex moves, just set your pickup and drop-off addresses to the same location. Luggers can move furniture between floors, rooms, or nearby units, ideal for apartment upgrades, remodeling, or switching between floors. Lugg never charges extra fees for stairs, walk-ups or multi-floor moves.

Can Lugg mount or dismount TVs?

Lugg does not provide wall-mounting or dismounting services. Wall-mounted TVs should be fully disconnected before pickup. If you need mounting assistance, book a local professional and let Lugg handle the transport.

Can Lugg disassemble and assemble furniture during my small move?

Yes, your Luggers can help with basic furniture assembly and disassembly during your small move. Crews bring standard tools, but if your items need specialty tools or instructions, please have those ready. Time spent assembling or disassembling is included in your total labor.

Are there size or weight limits for my small move?

For safety, the standard [weight limit](https://lugg.com/help/general/does-lugg-have-weight-limits) is 125 lbs per Lugger per item (or 250 lbs for a two-person crew), but there's no limit to how many items you can move, just book the right Lugg truck for your load. Most small moves should be booked with two Luggers to ensure safe lifting, loading, and placement. For heavier items over 250 lbs, we recommend booking multiple Luggs for safe handling or having someone available to help the crew.

Can I request extra Luggers for larger small moves?

Yes. You can add extra Luggers if your move involves multiple rooms, stairs, or heavy furniture. Just book another Lugg for the same time window, and we'll coordinate the additional crew and truck.

Do I need to pack my items before my small move?

Yes. Lugg does not provide packing services or supplies, so please box or bag any small, loose, or fragile items before your crew arrives. This includes things like kitchenware, electronics accessories, office supplies, dorm essentials, and any items that could shift during transport. Your Luggers will bring moving supplies and equipment to protect furniture and larger pieces, but having your items packed ahead of time helps keep your move quick, organized, and damage-free.

Can I ride in the truck with my items?

No. For safety and insurance reasons, customers cannot ride in the truck with their items.

How can I track my move and stay in touch with my Luggers?

You'll get text and push notifications with live tracking once your crew is on the way. You can message or call your Luggers directly through the app. Real-time updates show when your items are loaded, in transit, and delivered. iPhone users can also follow along through [Live Activities](https://blog.lugg.com/iphone-live-activities-delivery-tracking-lugg/) on their Lock Screen or Apple Watch.

Can Lugg throw away packaging, remove trash, or haul away old items?

Yes, if you need packaging thrown away on-site, such as taking trash to an on-site dumpster or moving an old item to the curb for city pickup, your Luggers can handle that (billed at the standard labor rate). If you want to haul away packaging/trash, or donate old/unwanted items, just add an extra stop (or stops) when booking. We can take it to a recycling facility or donate it to a local charity, including centers like [Goodwill](https://lugg.com/goodwill-industries-pick-up) or [Habitat ReStore](https://lugg.com/habitat-for-humanity-pick-up) . **Tip**: Donation and disposal centers vary widely in what they accept, so we recommend calling ahead to confirm they can take your items, as well as checking their hours and any potential fees.

What happens if an item gets damaged during my small move?

We always recommend inspecting your items upon arrival in your new space. In the rare event that damage occurs to your item(s) or your property, our Support Team will promptly review the issue, coordinate any necessary repairs or replacements, and work with you to make things right.
