I had an absolutely fantastic experience with Vaughn and Edwin from Lugg! I needed a dresser moved last minute up two flights of stairs, and these guys were lifesavers. They were incredibly professional, efficient, and super careful with my furniture. They tackled those stairs with no problem and had the dresser in place in no time. He picked up items for donation very efficiently, and arrive at drop off before it opened. He stuck around to see if there was a way to drop it off and someone was able to let him in. Lansana really made my day with his persistence and helped take a huge weight off my shoulders!
They came quickly and loaded all of our donations into the back of their Sprinter van. Goodwill kind of screwed us because they said they take furniture on their website. But thankfully, our Luggers found a new family for our chairs outside of the Goodwill. Life is funny but I'm happy they went to a new home!
The pickup was great. However, when they got to the drop off location, which was the west side housing works location, they were told that bed frames were not accepted. I had specifically filled out that I sending 2 twin bed frames and 4 counter stools, and dishes. As I found your company on the Housing works website, and entered exactly what I was donating, this makes no sense. Then there was a question as to whether I had paid you as a company- Lugg, which I also didn’t understand as I had given a credit card and a payment. It seems you have no association with housing works, and these two people don’t seem to actually work for you. Independent contractors perhaps? They were lovely, but the process was a failure.
Alonso and Denmark right on time. Alonso was exceptional - friendly, professional. Both worked efficiently and were out of my home quickly and made a prompt delivery to the nonprofit where I donated the furniture.
