David & John were an absolute pleasure. They were friendly, positive, and open to teamwork. I would hire them to help me 100 times over. Unfortunately, they work for Lugg, which is an awful company. I am so disappointed. I hired movers for a 10-11am start date, and they arrived around 5pm. 6-7 hours late. That is 100% on the company. If David and John ever go work for another company I will not hesitate to hire them again. If they work for Lugg, it’s a shame because you guys were not helpful, not responsive, and really just a displeasure to try to communicate with. I expect to receive at minimum a 50% discount. The only thing I am happy to pay is the generous tip I left David and John, who earned it. I took off work today when in reality I could’ve worked the whole day, which has a value of several thousand dollars. Thanks.

Extremely professional, friendly and efficient. I could not have asked for more and I truly appreciate them calling me and advising they did not receive 32 items as expected. Instead of leaving IKEA, they had the IKEA employee verify the missing items were lumped together in one box. How many people would take the time to do. That is truly above and beyond in my book. They were great but price was much higher than expected. We were quoted approx $140. How did this happen? We would NOT have used LUGG if we knew it was this expensive. There are many other services which would have charged less.
They were great, there should just be a way to add additional stop like your competition does. I would’ve paid more if it wasn’t double the price since I would’ve had to book a trip separately.

Lawrence was the driver for Lugg. He was professional and called to let me know that he was picking up my item. Also verify with me my item. He called when he was outside to bring it up to the 2nd floor walk up of my office. I recommend this company and this service. Price delivery very reasonable. The movers worked very fast and efficiently. Despite being hot weather they were nice and communicative the entire time. I had zero issues with them. What I do have some concern about is the price of the final move verses the estimate I received at booking. I booked the medium tier lug, set it for a room full of things, and received an initial estimate of ~ $80 base + $20 for driving + ~$2.20 per minute of work. The total of this was something closer to $300. I understand it was an estimate, but my final charge was $400. When I was thinking about what moving company to go with, I saw a lot of options but chose lugg ultimately because of my Experience with an driver who picked up things from ikea. The rate was far less, and while I understand it was the first tier option with one person, the actual time allotted was still comparable to the time spent today. I am disappointed in being misled by Lugg. I understand that it was an estimate and but I was charge almost an extra 25%. I believe that based on the items moved and the time allotted the end price was not appropriate, especially when I compare it to my previous experience with the ikea order. I hope that in the future your estimates are more accurate, as misleading clients feels dishonest. I usually do not complain about service but the 25% extra charge is too much. I hope that we could resolve this issue.
