They unexpectedly showed up an hour early which I don't think was their fault. It didn't matter. The machine was crazy heavy and we had to take it one step at a time and constantly think and reconsider how to go about bringing it up the stairs. They did well, but I was expecting them to have more helping tools to lift heavy objects up narrow stairs (they repurposed tie-down straps as lifting straps, but purpose-built lifting straps could've helped a lot more). Other tools like a XXL hand truck with large wheels could've helped. The machine had wheels so 2 long ramps laid over the stairs (decreasing the grade of the ramp) would've made the move almost trivial. GIVE THEM MORE TOOLS! They did the best they could with what they had and I am very happy they got it done. - Joel

Lugg hauls it, and you choose where it goes
Lugg moves your junk; Lugg doesn't own what happens to it afterwards. You pick the drop-off, whether that's a landfill or transfer station, a recycling center, or a Goodwill or Habitat ReStore if the piece is still usable, and that address goes on the booking like any other stop. One booking can make both stops, which is what a room clear-out usually needs: the dresser that's still good goes to a donation center and the broken bed frame goes to the dump.
Facilities in San Antonio charge their own fee for taking your items, based on their combined weight. Your Luggers pay it on site so you don't need to go along, and it reaches your card as a separate charge after the Lugg is finished. It sits outside your estimate rather than inside it.
